Itinerary

Ride through the historic center of Rome on a private 3-hour bike tour of the city's most famous attractions.

Head for the Campo de'Fiori market square to meet your guide for the tour. Get introduced to Rome's traffic and biking rules and head out into the city after your guide.

Weave through the busy city's streets to see the excavation of the site where Julius Caesar was assassinated at Largo Argentina. Stop at the base of the monumental staircase Michelangelo designed for the Capitoline Hill. Hear the story behind the enormous Vittoriano monument on Piazza Venezia.

Ride past the ancient Imperial Forum and Trajan's Column to reach the famous Colosseum. Learn about the bloody battles that once took place inside the amphitheater.

Cycle on through the city to see the Trevi Fountain where you can throw in a coin before continuing to the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The tour ends in front of the Palazzo Farnese on Piazza Navona.

I can't think of a better way to see nearly all of ancient Rome than by bike. Our tour guide, Valerio, was excellent in every way. He took all fears of riding through Rome's busy streets away by reassuring us that our route would be mostly in off-traffic areas and carefully guiding us to navigate along the path and through people on the streets. He shared important information with us - not too little and not too much - and was flexible at every stop, allowing us to explore and/or take photos. The price was super reasonable for the value. Don't miss it... It's fun and different, and you'll love it.

This tour was fantastic! We had just arrived in Rome and this was our first tour. It was very hot in Rome, and being on the bike let us see so much more, and stay so much cooler than all of the people walking. Our tour guide, Valerio, was great! He showed us everything in ancient Rome, the Trevi Fountain, and we went all through the city. It was a private tour which we liked, just our family. We weaved in and out of pedestrians, but always felt very safe. Great way to see Rome and not have blisters on your feet! Would do this again!
