Good customer service, but the attraction lacking

The Coliseum is overcrowded and confusing to navigate. I found it extremely overwhelming and wound up leaving early to return to my hotel. This was not the fault of the tour company, just a fact of going. The agency emailed us our tickets on time and everything went very smoothly as far as our interaction with them was concerned. I just don't really recommend the Coliseum itself.

We had the opportunity to experience the colosseum through the vendor Torusit Point Forum in Rome and it was a great experience. The vendor was very hospitable at pickup. They have a shop we’re you can purchase useful items and gifts and they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless. Be sure to utilize this tour and vendor in the future

Once we received our tickets from someone who was reluctant to help…….we walked to the Coliseum and entered relatively quickly even though we were guided to the wrong entrance, there was only a 5 minute wait. We loved being able to take our time and see all that we wanted. Palatine Hill, while a lot of walking, was worth it. It’s an indescribable feeling when you’re next to these beautifully and skillfully crafted historical sites. Would have given 5 stars if our ticket pickup had gone smoother. Asking multiple times if I “received an email” and being spoken to like a child about connecting to the internet was not a good start to the day. Wasted 10-15 mins when all he needed to do was print our tickets and hand them to us.

Colossal misunderstanding

Our skip the line tickets worked very well for the Colosseum itself. However, the skip the line did not apply to the Forum or Pallatine hill and the lines were also colossal. This tour included an audio tour on our cel phones but unfortunately the app that we downloaded didn’t work for any of us (we were 5), despite asking for help from the Colosseum staff, who use the same app. In the future, I would suggest Viator clearly explain that the skip the like is only for the Colosseum, not for all 3 areas. I would also offering a better explanation of how the app works. We felt like we missed half of the tour without the audio portion.

thanks for review, actually tickets is for skip the ticket office line and direct entry to the Colosseum entrance for security check-in. But as for the Roman Forum and palatine ticket valid 24/48 hours and there are 6 different entrance. so customer go any of the gate is mentioned on the ticket. also our meeting point staffs are always available to give information about it. if customers send us message or call us also for audio Guide we help always. thank you.

Why can't the tickets be sent to my app, why did I have to go half a mile past the Colosseum just to redeem tickets that were then sent to my phone anyway? It is a very convoluted way of doing things and due to running late, it was a very stressful start to the visit and took some of the pleasure of seeing such a magnificent landmark away from the experience. I downloaded the Viator app as I thought I would just receive tickets to my phone but that is not the case with the trips I booked, it is very confusing and frustrating.

we send tickets to customer through viator apps day before. but some customer do not check their email well or not find it for technical reason. then they have to come to the meeting point to collect tickets. they can also collect from us through whats-app on request. thank you.

Easy ticket pickup, great ticket option with the Arena floor experience! The pickup agent was friendly and super helpful, and the ticket was exactly what we wanted for a self guided experience at the Colosseum.
