This experience is one of the highlights of our trip. They show you a video and then take you backstage. You get to look into the rooms where the performers prepare, and then you actually go to the stage and stand in the "circle" where so many famous country stars have stood and sang. It is truly one of the finest Nashville sights to see and do.

Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry

Don_D, May 2026
We saw dressing rooms and heard who used them, saw practice areas, walked onto the stage, stood in the CIRCLE, heard stories, saw lots of pics. It was very interesting.

Great Experience

Kammie_P, May 2026
It’s an hour tour, with lots of great info and history. If you have trouble hearing you should stay close to the tour guide. There will be lots of picture options. No video or audio recording at all. At the end there is a great picture option that is an additional cost. You can take the picture with no pressure to purchase. The tour like all other tours and rides end at a gift shop.

Fun

Linda_R, May 2026

It was a great tour of the Opry. Fun to see various locations where history has been made. It got our Nashville trip off to a wonderful start.

amazing experience

Evelyn_H, Apr 2026
Once in a lifetime experience to hear about the history and all the great stars that have been there. Such a beautiful place. Coming back next year. A must to experience

A fun day

Sheila_R, Apr 2026
We had a great time. Our tour guide was great. We were a little disappointed with the picture package they try to sell you has no options. You have to purchase the whole package. We would have loved just one picture. They also offered you a discount to purchase tickets to a show in the next 7 days. Those are two things that would have been nice to know about.

Very nice hour-long tour!

Vicky_W, Apr 2026
This was a fun one-hour tour that starts with a nice film presentation, takes you through the backstage area (not too much there), down the dressing room hallways which was fun and into the main auditorium. Our tour guide, Barrett, was a nice young man who had lots of good information for us. It’s a walking tour but really did not contain a ton of walking. For me, the best thing about this tour was that it gave you the “feeling” of the Grand Ol’ Opry, like you really were experiencing that place of country music legacy that’s been dear to many hearts over many decades and has forged lifelong musical bonds and friendships. I really appreciated getting that taste of it. Nice tour.

Perfect tour!

Daniel_B, Apr 2026
