Head to downtown Nashville on your own the day of your Big Machine Brewery and Distillery small-group tour. This experience is limited to just five people for an intimate look at Big Machine’s brewing grounds and spirits.
First off, visit the production area of the distillery with a guide who tells you about the distillery’s handcrafted spirits and how they’re made. See how Big Machine’s vodka is made from corn before going to the special VIP lounge for an included guided tasting.
Afterward, spend some time shopping spirits and souvenirs in the distillery’s gift shop before calling it a day.

1- Not really a “tour”. The whole distillery is in one room, and it’s not even a large room.. (having done the tours in St. Augustine my expectations were much higher)
2- Parking is across the street for $32. (Unless you leave enough time for a long walk and park elsewhere)
3- Sample sizes were roughly a tablespoon. I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. It was just enough to get your tongue wet so you could taste it. Them calling it a “flight” is severely false advertising.
4- We got to taste one vodka, one rum, and 3 whiskeys. Totaling at most 5 tbsp. (Granted- The bartender did pour heavier for some people than others; he served slightly heavier pours to large men)
5- Entire “tour” was over in 37 minutes, during which he explained the distilling process for whiskey. It could’ve been an email. I’m shocked people gave it five stars. Maybe for $5 a person it’s worth 5 stars, but not $25.

This was such a great time. Plan for more than an hour. The tour is a full 60 minutes but if you decide to bottle off of the wall of barrels, it will take longer.
Our tour guide was excellent. He knew his stuff. The liquor itself was fantastic quality. I’m a whiskey drinker and usually don’t drink vodka. Their vodka was phenomenal

Jim was amazing. He was knowledgeable and gave real insight to the whisky process. He was able to answer a vast number of questions about Big Machine and its competitors. Would definitely come back to drink with Jim anytime

The big machine was a fun bar with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed having drinks prior to the tour and meeting fun people. Our tour guide was informative and fun there were at least 5 tastings and the drinks were strong!

The tour of the Big Machine Distillery was great, very interesting, informative, and fun! We got to do tastings of their vodka, rum, and whiskey, all of which were very good. The only reason I gave 4 stars, is because the Viator description says it includes a cocktail, but when we were there, we were told it doesn't. Still definitely worth the $15 though! We still stayed afterwards and had a cocktail at their bar.

We were the only two there it was very short and a waist of our time and money! We had read prior to going about getting a cocktail afterwards included but that wasn’t true. We should of went to a bar and had a cocktail and listened to music somewhere instead for the money!

Great environment with great whiskeys, bourbon and vodka, and a great tour guide. Everyone should eat something before going, the whiskey can get to you.
