Nate was great. We were the only ones on the tour. He tailored it to us which was great. Honey Bear is a sweetie.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for the kind words! Florida Island Tours is glad you enjoyed that private-style experience—those smaller groups really make it easy to tailor the trip and find the best shelling spots. Nate loves making each tour unique, and Honey Bear definitely adds a little extra charm to the day. Hope to see you back out on the water again soon! 🐚🐾🌊😊

It was a great time! ...

It was a great time! They only thing I would have changed is getting the kids good water shoes. Our guide was fantastic!

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Thank you for the kind review, Karen. Florida Island Tours is happy to hear that the Barrier Island Shelling Tour was such a great time, and that your guide made the experience special. You’re absolutely right about water shoes—those shallow, shell-covered beaches can be much more comfortable for kids with good footwear, and that tip will definitely help future families. We truly appreciate your feedback, and Florida Island Tours would love to welcome you back for another shelling tour, dolphin tour, or eco tour on your next visit to Marco Island. 🐚🌊🙂

We saw a pod of Dolphins...

We saw a pod of Dolphins and they swam with us for 10 minutes which was a great treat for my grandchildren.

What a special memory you family made! Thanks for choosing Florida Island Tours as your Marco Island boat tour company.

Thanks for a great experience!

Great tour of the islands. Saw many Osprey, bald eagles, along with other water fowl AND finding the beautiful shells on the beach. The Captain had great knowledge of the area, wildlife, and history of the area. Highly recommend

Response from Host, Nov 2023

There’s so much more to do in the 10,000 Islands than just shelling. Our captains always stop to point out the wild life and share a little local history with our guests. Glad you enjoyed your shelling tour and appreciated the little extras we love to share.

Best dolphin and seashell tour ever!

Donna_M, Feb 2023
Captain Nate and Captain Jules were great, very friendly and informative on our tour. They were accommodating which made for a pleasant trip. And they knew where to find the best shells. I would definitely do this again!!

Response from Host, Feb 2023

Donna, our captains know where to go! We love helping our guests find amazing rare shells on our beautiful remote barrier islands. Thanks for coming out on our shelling tour!
