Bring sunscreen. Saw lots of bird's and found a lot of sand dollars. Go at low tide for the best shelling experience.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Sounds like you all had a great time. Low tide is definitely the best time for shelling and it worked in your favor!! Thanks for coming out with us.

We had a blast!!

Capitán Ed was an excellent guide, he explained everything easily and gave us a great respect and insight of nature. We will do it again with him.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

So glad you enjoyed the tour with Captain Ed! We'd love to have you again!

I have participated in numerous cruises in this area. This specific experience was less than spectacular. Narration was minimal. The boat captain was more involved in communicating by phone with a repair person than pointing out any interesting facts about the area or history.

Response from Host, May 2026

We are sorry the tour wasn't as good as your past tours. It's frustrating to spend the trip listening to the captain deal with boat issues instead of getting the engaging narration and interesting history you were expecting. We hope you can come back soon so we can make It up to you all!

Amazing experience!

Such a fun excursion. Our guide was funny and very informative, great personality! So many dolphins! They had so much fun playing in our wake, jumping and gliding along! It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed it!!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for the review, Sue! Glad you had a great time with your captain. It's always so amazing to watch the dolphins jump behind the boat. Thanks again for coming out with us!

Goodland Florida boat tour

Joe was the perfect captain! 30 years on the job and very knowledgeable of the area history. We experienced everything the trip described. One dolphin actually swam right under our boat! This was the highlight of our Florida trip!!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for the great review! Captain Joe loves to share his passion and knowledge with everyone that comes out. We hope you can come back soon!

There is a stop on an island to go shell hunting or swimming. Captain Kevin gave good information about the animals and the surrounding area.
