It was an interesting walk about with a well informed tour guide. The food stops were all interesting and very generous. We probably walked 2 miles plus, and then another 1.5 miles back to our parked car. All the flour mill history, St Anthony’s, the stone bridge was all very well presented.

Fantastic. We had a little hiccup finding the starting point but after that it was smooth sailing. The food was good and the history and sightseeing was really fun!

Nice little synopsis of some MPLS history. Beautiful walk. Great food sampling and just enough with fantastic variety. The Tea House is a hidden gem as well as Fletcher’s ice cream. We were tickled to meet Sue, the founder of Sawatdee which was fresh and amazing. The croissant at the street market was amazing. Michelle was very friendly and welcoming.

The tour guide was amazing on this tour. She was friendly, and provided a lot of information about the city and the spots we stopped at. We made five food stops that included Thai food, spaghetti, gelato, Polish sausage (best stop on tour), and coffee. I have seen people complain that the spaghetti is on this tour due to the fact it is a chain restaurant. The restaurant is very pretty and has a lot of interesting decor from all over the place so I didn't mind this stop as much as some of the other reviewers. I was disappointed that there were no cheese curds- this is one food they are known for. I understand that food stops are not guaranteed and subject to change- but I feel like this should be a constant. Also, we did not go into the Mill City Museum which is something I was looking forward to doing. And since this is advertised as part of this tour I did not have enough time to do this on my own. This was replaced by going inside the Guthrie theater to get an overview of the Stone Arch bridge and St. Anthony falls. We did walk over the Stone Arch bridge which was quite enjoyable to walk right along the water. Overall the experience was enjoyable but I rate this four stars because I do feel there is room for improvement.

Enjoyed the tour and the tour guide. Wonderful local gentleman with many a local and personal stories to share. Only concern is the distance to return to home base after the tour.

BUYER BEWARE: There are two food tour companies in Minneapolis. The other one is excellent and this is not.
This food tour company took us to the Old Spaghetti Factory which has close to 45 locations in the United States. We couldn't believe they took us to a chain restaurant. Before booking your food tour make sure you call them and see if they are taking you to local restaurants or chain restaurants that you could go to at home.
The two food tour companies have similar sounding names. One is helpful and answers the phone, the other does not. Do your research ahead of time, we wish someone would have warned us....we threw 90.00 out the window to eat at a chain restaurant.
Also, the tour guide was lackluster. One of the participants asked her Why are they called the Twin Cities? We wanted to know as well. She did not the answer and we still do not know the answer. You can tell that this is just a job to her, she is not passionate about what she does.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Haley was an excellent tour guide. She was personable and gave many interesting facts on the history of the warehouse district. We walked along the streets of the district and the riverfront. We visited 4 restaurants each offering a hearty sampling of their fare. Each restaurant was a unique experience. One thing to note, it is a walking tour and it involves a good deal of walking. Haley did suggest after the tour several options to get back to our original meeting spot after the tour for those who didn't want to walk back. It was a fun and wonderful evening.

This was our first food tour and enjoyed it very much. The food selection was great and the tour was very educational. Haley was very friendly and professional. We have already recommended it to others.
