Great way to spend an hour to learn about a piece of St. Paul history. I have lived in the twin cities for 15 years and did not know this existed. Mary was a great tour guide!!

It’s a pleasant tour. The history is fascinating. We went a second time to review some of what we learned the first time round.

Such a fun time! Wish we were in town longer to attend the other tours they have. Definitely a must do !

Baby Face Nelson was the perfect tour guide who appeared to enjoy the tour as much as we did. I highly recommend this tour. But wear a light jacket!

It was a really good tour—mostly thanks to Mary (if I remember her name correctly; she was an older white lady). The site was interesting on its own, but she made it a very engaging experience. She was funny, witty, and had a nice voice. Also, the pictures I took are gonna help me get extra credit for one of my classes, so that’s cool too.

Very interesting. Lois was informative and presented the material in an upbeat and comical way. She was great. Bring a sweater, it gets cold.

The cave tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Luke was very engaging and a great speaker. The cave history is a fascinating slice of American history. Very glad it is being preserved and shared!
Abigail_K, Jul 2025
It was not cave, he said it wasn’t a cave within the first 15 minutes and they say that instead of a mine to bring more people in.
Dana_T, Jul 2025
Great tour given by Baby Face. He was very knowledgeable on local history & entertaining. Would definitely recommend!
Paulette_J, Jul 2025
A definite must Do. Our guide Luke was fabulous. He definitely kept my attention.
It was chilly in there for me- so bring a sweater or light jacket. My hubby wasn’t cold at all.

David_L, Jun 2025
Tour guide was great. Fun and interesting. It was a great activity for a hot day. It was 98° that day but around 60° inside the cave.
MaryAnn_P, Jun 2025
The cave is man made and they really only take you through a small part of it. Our your guide, Mary, was very entertaining.
