We arrived a few minutes early for our 10 am tour as the company requested and our guide Sam arrived around the same time. And we all realized that this was going to be a small tour - me, my wife and Sam! He was highly knowledgeable of the history of Hollywood and Hollywood Blvd and gave us wonderful details and trivia about the neighborhood, the various buildings and architecture, local nightlife, food, the walk of fame, and more. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our two hours with him! Thanks again for a great way to learn about the history of Hollywood!

Our guide Sonya was marvellous. Full of great stories and facts. We walked a lot and saw all the sites as per the tour list. My husband and I happened to be the only ones on the tour which was great for us! We really enjoyed our experience and were delighted to have met such a great guide. Sending our thanks to Sonya.

Sonya was a super duper tour guide!!! She was prompt, informative, and made us feel very comfortable. The tour route and content was perfect...not too much h...but not too little either. My husband and I decided to take a walking tour of Hollywood and learn some of its history. We were not disappointed. Damion gave us a great walking tour, and was so knowledgeable about everything. We loved hearing the stories of the studios and theaters, and the people who established Hollywood as we now know it.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Roosevelt Hotel were great. The Chinese and Egyptian theaters were a disappointment not the fault of the Viator tour guide. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really wanted to see the inside of at least one vintage Hollywood movie house, so I was disappointed in the end.

Thanks so much for coming on the tour and so glad you liked Oliver. Totally understand that you wanted to see one of the movie palaces on Hollywood Boulevard, but we replied to the email you sent before the tour, asking if we would enter, to tell you that we don't go inside. It's also listed as an exclusion here on TripAdvisor/Viator, so we're not sure why you were expecting to go inside. As we explained in the email you can get tickets for the Chinese Theatre tour, which is the last stop on our tour and which begins right afterwards. We hope you made the most of it :-).

Our tour guide was great at sharing interesting historical info. He covered topics that were all new to us - capturing the true founding of the area and the people who helped build this town.
