What To Expect

Your private one-way transfer from Lisbon begins with pickup from your departure point of choice, whether that’s your Lisbon hotel, Lisbon airport, Lisbon cruise port, or a central meeting point. Your driver will be waiting for you at your requested departure time.

For airport pickups, the meeting point is by the Vodaphone store, where your driver will be holding a sign with your name. In the case of a delayed flight, there is no extra charge for a wait time of up to 1.5 hours; fees apply for longer waits.

You’ll travel from Lisbon to Porto in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water provided for each passenger. Be sure to let your driver know in advance if traveling with children—child seats are a legal requirement for children up to 12 years.

On arrival, you’ll be dropped at your hotel or chosen drop-off point in Porto.

Our driver was really friendly and knowledgeable. His car was very comfortable and he knew a great stop for us to get a little bite. He was patient and kind. We loved that he pointed out the stork nests along the way. We never saw those before! It was really cool to have that pointed out to us because we would not have noticed them without him. He was very helpful with helping us bring up the many suitcases we had as well. We highly recommend him.

We had a transportation issue btw Lisbon and Porto and John stepped up to fill the gap! Very efficient and professional in a spotless van. I even got some Portuguese language lessons. Highly recommend instead of flying and the trains don’t work out.

Unfortunate Travel Transport

This was a scam-the driver arrived 30 minutes late and did not have room in the trunk for 4 passengers and 4 suitcases. His trunk was full of boxes. The car was not a Mercedes van(as advertised) and we declined the 3 hour transport and had to take a train therefore losing a day in our trip. The travel company was extremely discourteous and we later found out this was an Uber driver. We had to prepay 557$ and never took the trip. Now we’re in the process of refund processing which is another issue on many levels. These transactions are being handled by many levels and Viator needs to take responsibility for the financials and not put blame on the local travel company since our $ went directly to Viator.

Dear Rebecca, We like to receive criticism because it is with criticism that we correct our mistakes and make our work even better. Unfortunately, Rebecca lies by increasing the driver's delay time, which was not 30 but 15 minutes, but she was always aware of that, there was a strike on the Lisbon Metro and traffic was very difficult, but it reduced the capacity to carry luggage, the vehicle in question had capacity for your luggage and still had room to spare, it was an MPV class vehicle. But, Rebecca booked a transfer for 4 Pax from Lisbon to Porto and that transfer for 4 Pax is carried out in an MPV vehicle.... in our product it is perfectly described that the transfer will be carried out by a vehicle with air conditioning, nowhere do we mention that the transfer will be carried out in a van and nowhere is any brand of vehicle mentioned ... why do you say that it is? where did you see this?
