Great relaxing tour, worth the $!

We had a wonderful tour, as we lucked out and ended up with just the two of us, with Paulo, our wonderful tour guide. He was an expert in all the things that were important for touring Sintra, and extremely nice and helpful as well. One of the better tours I’ve ever done!

Pro: my guide was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing. The castles are an amazing experience, especially Pena Palace. Con: the guide did not come with us to Regaleira and the audio guide did not work so I felt lost while there. Sometimes there was a language barrier which made for some confusion when explaining meeting points.

The tour guide was beyond incredible. Shared the tour with beautiful people from all walks of life. It was a small group tour of only 8 people which made it a more intimate experience. Everyone should do this tour 💞

Had a great time. The group was small, so it allowed for flexibility with schedule. This tour was not a full in-depth explanation, but more of a form of transportation and answers questions. Also the price of the tour does not include entry into the sites.

Sintra a must see!

Teresa was really well versed in the history of Sintra and the surrounding areas. She was able take her time to show us different castles and churches in the area and even offered to ask us if we wanted to see anything off the itinerary. It was a very nice all day tour and with tourism lower, we were able to get into some of these places without a line.

Great tour! Teresa Chito was a great guide, mentioning all kinds of things, but always keeping in interesting! We were only 2 people on the tour so it was very personal and we could ask whatever came to mind. Totally recommend!

Fabulous tour

We took the 6 hour tour of Sintra. What a wonderful town. We saw inside of churches and castles and the Pena palace, we walked the town, and we drive to and around the beach area. It was a wonderful view of Portugal. Our driver JOSE was terrific. He was pleasant and he spoke English well. He was fun and very helpful --helping my husband around the palace since he uses a cane. He was so knowledgeable as well. Great day and great company.

Tuvimos suerte ya que fuimos sólo mi pareja y yo y la experiencia fue inolvidable. Carla, nuestra guía fue muy amable con nosotros. Nos enseñó todo lo que le pedimos e incluso se quedó más tiempo del contratado con nosotros. Se adaptó perfectamente a lo que queríamos y no podemos estar más contentos con ella :) Visitamos Sintra, Cascais y Belem. Sin duda Sintra hay que visitarlo al menos una vez en la vida, el Palacio de la Peña siempre estará grabado en nuestra memoria. Si estáis dudando en contratar el servicio, os recomiendo hacerlo y si os toca Carla como guía vais a disfrutar seguro.

Fatal, si lo llego a saber me lo hago por mi cuenta cogiendo el tren desde Lisboa. Lo primero que el tour lo cogí en Castellano puesto que mi pareja no sabe inglés y resultó que todo nuestro grupo era de gente inglesa, el guía Orlando hablaba un poco en castellano pero estuvo todo el rato hablando en inglés ya que la mayoría eran ingleses. Las colas para entrar al palacio de Pena horribles, tampoco no explicó nada acerca del palacio, básicamente hizo de chofer, era agradable pero pagar por dos personas cerca de 100€ me sentí estafada. Nos dieron solo una hora y media para comer y ver el centro de Sintra pero estaba todo tan lleno que sólo pudimos comer en Esa hora y media y no vimos ni el centro, ni sus calles… Pensaba que también nos llevarían a Quinta y ni eso. Al día siguiente volvimos mi pareja y yo en tren a Sintra y pudimos ver el Palacio de Quinta que es precioso y conocer mejor Sintra. La verdad que no recomiendo este tour, sin explicaciones y sin tiempo para ver nada. Auténtico timo.
