After leaving the cruise terminal, cross the road, turn left, and at the end of the street turn right. Our shop at Largo do Terreiro do Trigo 16, with Spinach Tours and Boost Portugal signs, is less than a 5-minute walk away.
What To Expect
Make your own way to downtown Lisbon to pickup your electric bike. Choose your rental duration and listen to a safety briefing explaining the simple operating principles. Pop on your helmet and begin pedaling as normal. Want to take a break from pedaling, just flip on the battery switch and power your way up hills or long straightaways. Plus, use your lock (provided) to stop for breaks at landmarks, cafes, and more.
Take off on your self-guided adventure using your provided map. Set off for Avenida da Liberdade (Liberdade Avenue) and cycle along to Eden Theater. Observe its architecture a primary example of Portuguese Art Deco. Nearby, see the 18th-century Foz Palace. Then, flip on the power and climb to St. George's Castle perched on a commanding hilltop where you can admire stunning views. Want more views? Head to the top of Eduardo VII Park and snap perfect panoramas.
Turn off the power as you wind your way down to Rossio Square featuring Portuguesa pavement. Notice the stylish stones arranged in incredible wave-like patterns. Then, continue on to historic Rossio Central Station, Carmo Square, and Restauradores Square.
This is a great opportunity to see Alfama, the home of Fado—Portugal’s melancholic music featured in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Cruise along slim corridors lined with Moorish influenced homes and cherish the heritage of this old neighborhood. Capture views of Lisbon’s oldest church, Sé de Lisboa Cathedral, and then cycle to the refined Chiado neighborhood. Here, lock your bike and stroll to elegant boutiques, cute cafés, and bookstores. Hop back on your bike and check-out the lively Baixa district.
Cycle or enjoy or let the bike do the work along the Tagus River in the district of Belem. Visit beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites like Jerónimos Monastery and the 16th-century Tower of Belem both designed in the Portuguese Manueline architectural style.

- All participants must have a minimum of 1.5meters (4.9 feet) and a maximum of 118Kg (260.14 pounds).
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult who must sigh a Statement of Responsability for children up to 17 years old upon arrival.
- The use of safety helmet is mandatory.
- It´s forbidden for pregnant women and intoxicated people, not recommended to mentally or physically incapacitated people or to people with prosthesis.
- Use the Bike in a responsible way and follow the rules of the road.
- For Bike Rentals a deposit of €50 (regular) or €150 (e-bike) per bike is required (via credit card) per bike.
- For Bike Rentals it is necessary to take a record of the credit card details for any lost or damaged vehicles. If no damage is verified, all previous deposit charges will be fully refunded.
- A valid ID or Passport per participant is mandatory. Copies or photos are not accepted.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

The hiring online was so easy which we did just an hour before we wanted the bikes. Service was very friendly giving us tips on a cycling route. I would recommend viator and getting out on a bike in Lisbon!

The meeting point was easy to find and staff very helpful. They had our reservation and got us our gear quickly. Showed us the best route on the map and also recommended sites and restaurants in that area. We went to Belém which was a perfect tour. There is a bike path most of the way. Great activity to beat the heat. Thank you!

We had a great experience. The price was reasonable. The bikes were pretty new and in great shape. We were cruising and the rental location was an easy walk from port. Gve (I think that was his name) was great help! He was very kind and gave excellent service and also recommendations on where to ride.

so I made the booking on the 25th of December, paid for the rent of two bikes, to surprise my friend. I paid for uber aswell to get me to pick up place on time. When I have reached the bike rent, I have been explained they will not give me the bikes because they close at 1pm. I have been told that my registration somehow slipped through system, which should not happen.{I have paid 2 bikes for 4 hours. } When I asked them for cancelation, they told me they cannot do that eiter.

The challenges of negotiating the cycle path in Lisbon made it more fun, lots of people bikes, scooters to pass so stay alert. It's lovely to feel the sun on your bones and this was the perfect trip, the bike circulated some air around us so fewer moaning hot kids guaranteed. I would recommend this trip for older children accompanied by adult of course, with some bicycle experience I think it would be too unsafe if this wasn't the case. Its worth heading for Belem tower, it's a good distance a worthwhile monument to see. If you prefer there is a military museum 4.50 euro fee to get in.

Took E Bike to Belem Tower. Its fair to say you have to walk along on the path sometimes, because cyclists have to share the space with walkers. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience irrespective of this.

We had a wonderful day with the electric bikes in Lissabon. W made a big tour arround the city. It is quite safe if you are used to bike. We had rent the retro bikes, where the motor is in the middle. If you are small, like me (1.55), you can better take a electric bike with the motor at the back for ladies, that's safer. Riccardo and Bea from Boots rearranged for me another bike which suites me better. Thank you.

I took the 4-hour electric bike rental and was able to take a tour of the entire city. Mind you I was on the bike for nearly the entire time and only took a break to grab a bite at Pasteis do Belem...the best natas in Portugal! I'm a bike a warrior, so you may want to concentrate on one quarter of the city, but you really can get around real quick on their electric bike, and get some exercise and sun!

Het was een erg leuke ervaring om op de fiets Lissabon te ontdekken. Een verrassing was een klein ondergelopen deel van het fietspad langs de Taag.😀Uitermate vriendelijk geholpen. De elektrische fiets reageerde anders dan “thuis” maar goed te doen. Leuk detail: het mini koeltasje aan de bagagedrager.

Fantastische ebike fietstochtgemaakt in en om Lissabon.eerst op de boulevard langs de Taag,toen een paar heuvels met prachtige vieuws,en daarna door de historische binnenstad,waar ook tram 28 rijd.daar moet je wel fietservaring voor hebben,anders is het levensgevaarlijk.het wegdek daar op de steile hellingen is zeer slecht.en het is erg druk met trams,tuctucs,bussen en auto's.maar de gehuurde ebike met sterke motor en stuurvering hield het daar prima.ook op een mountainbike is het een avontuur.

Een half uur om contracten en verzekering nog in orde te brengen. Bovenop de €58 voor 4 uur fietsen, nog €10 bij moeten betalen voor de verzekering. We kregen geen duidelijke uitleg, de fietsen werden niet afgesteld op onze grootte, fietsbel werkte niet en als we fietsten over de dijk en de kasseien, rammelden de fietsen... We vroegen een fietstas, maar kregen een rek die niet paste op de fiets.
Kortom: veel geld en gedoe voor weinig kwaliteit. Jammer...

Als je gaat fietsen in Lissabon, neem e de e fietsroutes langs het water. Het verkeer in Lissabon is niet gewend aan fietsers.
