This all-day kayaking adventure was the perfect way to start my year and my first solo trip to Portugal. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough—it’s perfect for anyone who’s up for an unforgettable adventure. João was the perfect guide and truly made the day unforgettable. The facilities were clean and comfortable, making it easy to change into wetsuits and shower afterward. Everything was incredible, from the cliff jumps and cave exploration to the snorkeling, homemade wine, and delicious lunch on the beach. High energy … yes! A personal experience… yes! Safe atmosphere … yes! Joao made this day an amazing one from start to finish. Your trip to Portugal is not complete without this kayaking/cave exploring/high jumping day. In case you are wondering, it was appropriate for our teenagers as well.

This was an unforgettable and amazing experience. João was the perfect guide, he had everything planned out well and he shared so many great stories with the group. We also loved meeting his sweet dogs and cats. The beach and views were amazing, and we got to swim and explore secret caves and spots all along the coast. Definitely recommend for anybody looking for an adventurous day.

This is a full day water experience to explore nature, marine life, hidden caves, snorkeling, and cliff jumping. The tour guide was very informative and super funny (he told lots of jokes). The only con and advice I would give is to bring your own beverage. I don't drink alcohol or wine, which were the only beverages that were given to the participants. Other than that, I would highly recommend this tour.

This was definitely the highlight of my trip, and I highly recommend it to all the solo travelers. João is an incredible guide—fun, energetic, and just happy-go-lucky. He’s got a genuine passion for this work which really comes through and that made the tour so much more enjoyable. A 10/10 for his playlist too. If you’re on the fence, just book.

If you’re looking for an adrenaline-packed, awe-inspiring outdoor adventure in Portugal, look no further. This tour blew every expectation out of the water—literally! Please note that this tour can be physically demanding. If you are looking for an easy tour and want to have your hand held the whole time, this is definitely not for you.
From the moment we arrived, the energy was awesome, thanks to our incredible tour guide. His passion for adventure and deep knowledge of the area made the entire experience feel like a wild, unforgettable journey with a close friend rather than just a tour.
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Portugal, hands down. If you love nature, adventure, and a guide who makes every second fun and unforgettable, don’t miss this. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

He led us through an epic day of kayaking, cliff diving, and exploring hidden caves, all set against the stunning backdrop of Arrábida Natural Park.
João’s passion for his hometown shines through in every hilarious story and perfectly timed (and delightfully corny) joke. After working up an appetite, we enjoyed a delicious lunch right on the beach—a moment of pure magic.
Back at “home base,” João welcomed us like family, even sharing his family’s homemade port wine for a heartfelt toast to the day’s adventures.

This experience is an amazing full day excursion! You get to kayak, cliff jump, explore sea caves, swim, and snorkel with scenic views and photo spots included! Lunch, drinks and snacks were included and overall just an amazing experience! I went with my girlfriend and it was truly awesome! The tour guide João is one of the best people we met on our vacation! Super funny, friendly and fun! (Also explains some history)

João is an oracle when it comes to Arrabida and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Being naturally skeptical, I thought the overwhelming 5 stars reviews about a tour guide were overplaying it since I’ve never had a tour guide this special. João gave me and my friend an absolutely unforgettable experience, would give this 7 stars if I could. He even found my glasses when I dropped them in the ocean. Absolute gem of a tour guide, and gem of a location.

Even though we are in our 50’s, we had an incredible adventure! Exhausting and exhilarating. João was an amazing guide. He safely led us through ocean caves, jumping off a cliff and snorkeling around a small marine preserve. We were the only 2 on the tour. So happy that he didn’t cancel. Otherwise we never would have seen the octopus and other marine beauties. We kayaked. He fed us and brought drinks and so much food! He was a delight. I always suggest doing at least 1 activity on vacation. Museums are everywhere but have you seen an octopus and a cave with a church inside???

From start to finish, this was not a typical passive sightseeing tour. Owner and guide João is of a different species. He has the energy of 10 people, and he lavished the three guests with for an entire day with a mix of athletic effort and luxurious Portuguese fare. I don't want to share all the details because you need to experience the delight and surprise of the things João has up his sleeve. Suffice it to say, you will not be hungry, you will not be passive, you should be ready to work your body, and you will experience a one-of-a-kind Portuguese adventure. Oh, and you may cringe-laugh at João's endless supply of dad jokes and puns. Thank you for a beautiful day!

The adventure was a blast!! Our guide Pedro was fantastic. We had 3 couples and two single folks in the group, it was a great group of folk and we enjoyed every moment. Our son went on the same adventure in June and highly recommended that we needed to do it. He was right!

This is only my second time actually participating in a tour on my solo travels and I’ve had two amazing experiences back to back. The first was a relaxed, go-go-go experience on Madeira filled with lighthearted joking and cliff jumps. Great start to a trip.
This one, however, led by Pedro, was a more personal experience. After pickup, we convened at the home of the company’s owner which was lovely. Very clean facilities and a chance for coffee and a small snack before kayaking.
While you may want more experience with coasteering for this tour, our group ranged in experiences and all had fun with path modifications.
Unlike most tours, lunch was provided at the end and another snack back at the compound. It’s more a communal/family adventure amongst strangers which, for a solo traveler, provides a nice change of pace.
Can’t recommend Pedro enough even as a new, relatively speaking, guide. Engaging, good natured, and friendly.
