- Make sure to be a “good” swimmer. This is defined as being able to swim in the ocean without assistance from others or flotation devices for extended periods/distance.
- Not available for participants who are unable to swim. Swimming without assistance is a requirement..

Capt. Aaron and First Mate Emily were absolutely delightful! Not only were they friendly and funny, they were dedicated to our safety too. While we have snorkeled before, it was good to hear all the info again. Would recommend for beginners or inexperienced snorkelers. It was another beautiful day in the Keys!

Great tour! The captain and first mate were fun, knowledgeable, and educative. We had a blast! The swells were 1-2 feet which was a bit more than they like even though it was a beautiful day but they were able to get us out the the Christ statue safely and everyone got to see it! They have GoPro’s you can rent for 30$ and film your adventure.

The dive facility, boat and equipment all top notch. Do not expect to have any prescription level googles available. The soda, water and snacks, was a plus. The crew was professional and focused on safety. I gave this rating a 5 instead of a 4 because my comments are personal to me. I was a disappointed that there was no education at all except the captain passed around a card with fish on it as we were heading back in. No one talked about the State Park (outside of the name of the reef we were at), the reefs or any historical reference to the Christ statue and how, when or why it was placed there. The reef was in a state of decay and very sad to see how dark and bleached it turned. Did see a lot of fish but the condition of the reef made it sad for me to see. Extreme water temps but heavy traffic doesn't help, so personally I came feeling a bit guilty. I live in Florida and snorkel the gulf and other areas around the world. I had always wanted to see this coral reef, but I wasn't prepared for the conditions it was in. Shame on me for not doing the research up front. The boat adventure is great for those who want a half day snorkeling around but don't expect any educational information or pink/yellow reefs.

Snorkeling in Key Largo at the Jesus statue was unforgettable. Seeing the “Christ of the Deep” underwater while floating over clear water gave the whole trip a really special, almost surreal feeling. The visibility was great, and it was exciting to swim close enough to notice the details of the Jesus statue. I seen a nurse shark & sting ray as soon as we jumped in the water. The kids had a great time. It was safe & unforgettable. Highly recommend

Really enjoyed the snorkeling trip. Booked last minute for me and my girls aged 13 and 16. They loved it and we saw so many fish and sea creatures. Felt like we were swimming in an aquarium. The staff was great and overall very pleased of service. The drinks and chips that were included were a nice touch!

The Jesus statue is neat but I thought our first stop at the reef was much better. So I would definitely suggest getting the 2 stop snorkel trip. More to see at the first reef stop

Captain Jeff and Jolisa were our hosts for this experience. The Calypso was our vessel and Captain Jeff was able to tie us up close to the Coral Reefs and to the statue of Christ of the Abyss. It was enjoyable. Both staff were helpful and accommodating, and they included snacks, water and soft drinks for the participants.

Amazing snorkeling experience! Crew was great and knowledgeable of the area and reefs. They took great care of everyone and my family all agreed this was the best part of our weeklong vacation! Our first time snorkeling and everyone had a blast seeing the beautiful fish, clear waters, christ if the deep statue, and even a young sea turtle the captain directed us to look out for! You should bring “reef-safe”sunscreen and use it! We went to two sites on the reef and watched barracuda and many other sea creatures including a turtle. Great fun, and the captain was very entertaining.

They are responsible and take attendance several times that impressed me. They give you instructions and again are clear in what to expect including sending texts to advise of weather. You do two sites, unfortunately the weather didn't allow for us to see the statue but we will be back. Enough space on the boat not crammed love that and they have snacks, soda and water included. Truly felt that they made sure we were comfortable and having fun while still watching for our safety.

Excellent staff. Weather was rough and they were very informative and managed to give us an amazing experience. Got to swim next to a nurse shark and saw a lot of fish as well as the Jesus statue. Shelby was awesome in the office and I apologize I didn’t get the people on the boats names but they were awesome as well. I’ve done a lot of snorkel tours in the Keys and this was the best tour and will definitely be back. It was extremely easy to get in and out and supplying everything made it so much easier as well.

If you’re planning a trip to the Keys, make sure you book this experience! 🐠
One piece of advice: take Dramamine before heading out to the reefs if you’re prone to seasickness—or even if you don’t think you need it. I almost never get seasick, but this time I did, and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy all the time we had exploring the reefs.
Thankfully, the crew was amazing and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of.
Despite that, I would absolutely recommend this experience. There is so much beautiful marine life to see, and it’s something you won’t forget 🦈🐟🤍
I already can’t wait to go back… this time with plenty of Dramamine! 😂

Amazing experience. Captain Aaron and his first mate Jaleesa did a great job explaining the trip, guiding us to snorkeling spots and helping us identify all the wildlife we saw. The highlight was an Eagle Ray, small sea turtle and the Jesus statue!! So great. 5 out of 5

It was nice, but they would not let us use the snorkel equipment we brought. I did not like using the equipment they had because you never know how well it was actually cleaned plus it did not fit well! I would have preferred signing another waiver to use my own! Next time I will use a private charter.

The only exceptions are full-face snorkel masks and weight belts, which we do not allow due to safety concerns. We sincerely apologize if that wasn't made clear before your trip.
We absolutely understand wanting to use equipment that you're familiar and comfortable with. Our rental gear is cleaned, sanitized, and maintained between uses. Our crew is always happy to help with fit or to make adjustments if something isn't feeling right.
