- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Make sure to be a “good” swimmer. This is defined as being able to swim in the ocean without assistance from others or flotation devices for extended periods/distance.
- Not available for participants who are unable to swim. Swimming without assistance is a requirement..
- Not recommended for new/beginner swimmers.
- Minors (under the age of 18) MUST be with a Parent/Guardian
- FULL FACE SNORKEL MASKS ARE NOT ALLOWED, Drones are not allowed, Sea Scooters are not allowed, weight belts are not allowed
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages NOT permitted prior to/or during the tour.
- The property and tour boats are non smoking areas.
- Children under age of 5 years old not allowed on board boat as passengers or snorkelers due to insurance restrictions.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers

My wife and I took the two reef snorkeling trip on MV Calypso. Let me start by saying that my wife had never done anything like this before while I am a certified driver. I had an amazing time and it opened my wife up to a new world of adventure. The captain and crew were both entertaining and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone no matter their skill set.

You should bring “reef-safe”sunscreen and use it! We went to two sites on the reef and watched barracuda and many other sea creatures including a turtle. Great fun, and the captain was very entertaining.

They are responsible and take attendance several times that impressed me. They give you instructions and again are clear in what to expect including sending texts to advise of weather. You do two sites, unfortunately the weather didn't allow for us to see the statue but we will be back. Enough space on the boat not crammed love that and they have snacks, soda and water included. Truly felt that they made sure we were comfortable and having fun while still watching for our safety.

Excellent staff. Weather was rough and they were very informative and managed to give us an amazing experience. Got to swim next to a nurse shark and saw a lot of fish as well as the Jesus statue. Shelby was awesome in the office and I apologize I didn’t get the people on the boats names but they were awesome as well. I’ve done a lot of snorkel tours in the Keys and this was the best tour and will definitely be back. It was extremely easy to get in and out and supplying everything made it so much easier as well.

If you’re planning a trip to the Keys, make sure you book this experience! 🐠
One piece of advice: take Dramamine before heading out to the reefs if you’re prone to seasickness—or even if you don’t think you need it. I almost never get seasick, but this time I did, and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy all the time we had exploring the reefs.
Thankfully, the crew was amazing and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of.
Despite that, I would absolutely recommend this experience. There is so much beautiful marine life to see, and it’s something you won’t forget 🦈🐟🤍
I already can’t wait to go back… this time with plenty of Dramamine! 😂

Amazing experience. Captain Aaron and his first mate Jaleesa did a great job explaining the trip, guiding us to snorkeling spots and helping us identify all the wildlife we saw. The highlight was an Eagle Ray, small sea turtle and the Jesus statue!! So great. 5 out of 5

It was nice, but they would not let us use the snorkel equipment we brought. I did not like using the equipment they had because you never know how well it was actually cleaned plus it did not fit well! I would have preferred signing another waiver to use my own! Next time I will use a private charter.

This was amazing!!! All the staff were very patient and kind. They explained everything throughly and provided coral reef safe sunscreen along with hair ties also. Captain Jeff and Jolycee were amazing also with fun commentary and amazing music. Overall I would DEFINITELY book again!!!!

We really enjoyed the excursion. Aaron and Emily were extremely friendly, caring, down to earth, funny, knowledgeable, and environmentally sound. Highly recommend this company....they had plenty of drinks, snacks, music, clean equipment, sunscreen, and a beautiful boat. They were well prepared, organized and walked us through the experience so that we didn't have to worry about anything! My family felt safe and at ease as this was my sons' first snorkeling experience. The crew made the experience a lasting impression and great memories for years to come. I highly recommend and will be back!

Staff at check in area and crew on boat were amazing! Very friendly. Boat is clean. Equipment is in good condition. Lots of snacks, soft drinks and water on board. If you read other reviews that say take dramamine, do it. Even if you're not prone to seasickness. I've snorkeled many times in many countries. But, always on a catamaran. Never from a flat bottom/pontoon type of boat. Night and day different experience. On a catamaran I've never seen anyone get sick and have never been sick myself. Neither has my husband. The trip started out well - no one was sick. However, as we were waiting by the ladder to get back into the boat after the 1st stop many of us started feeling seasick. Back on the boat the seasickness continued with multiple people throwing up off the side of the boat. One young boy managed to get it all down the side of the boat and on the deck. Gross! I felt so awful I didn't get off the boat at the 2nd stop. Also, getting on/off a catamaran there's a ladder in front where you walk down/up the ladder to get in/out of the water. On the Silent World boats the ladders are on the side. You go to the 1st step and jump 5-6' into the water while holding your mask. I didn't like that at all.

Awesome team, from Emily checking us in to Capt Aaron driving the boat, just a super group of folks. Felt like a kid all over again. So much fun we came back for another trip. I’d recommend these folks to anyone.

Absolutely awesome snorkel trip! Captain Aaron and Emily were fantastic, had great jokes, and made the whole boat feel very safe and secured! Being first time snorkelers, we were a bit nervous, but as soon as we got on the boat and took off all worries went away! Highly recommend this tour! Not everyone can say they’ve seen Christ of the Abyss!

The crew was absolutely fantastic, operations were efficient, they have everything you need on board.
We were a bit disappointed in the variety of the reefs. The statue was cool and there was beautiful, colorful coral, all the beautiful standard fish but nothing we haven’t seen snorkeling from shore. Both sites were the same other than the statue.
This was first time snorkeling in Florida so maybe this is just what it is -I’d recommend it for first time snorkelers but it doesn’t compare to snorkel trips we’ve done from Caribbean islands and other countries.

This would be a good trip for folks inexperienced with snorkeling. Instructions were clear on how to use equipment and where we could go. I loved the added comedy. The music was nice too.

Captain Aaron and Emily were fantastic! The boat was clean, equipment was nice and new. Very well organized and the snorkeling was fantastic! Lots of fish and seeing the statue of Christ was absolutely amazing.

Great staff. Everything was very well explained and taking care of. Make sure you use a lot of sun screen especially on the back. lol

Very beautiful locations for snorkeling. We saw several kinds of fish, a nurse shark, a turtle, and other marine life. Guides Aaron and Ashlyn were fantastic, provided clear instructions and created a very fun atmosphere.
