We had a great experience! Capt Brad, scuba Joe and First Mate Nate were very entertaining and did an excellent job keeping the group safe and fun. Snorkeling at the Elbow and Finger reefs provided stunning views of fish and coral along with the Jesus statue. We would definitely book this again!

We had a great experience! Capt Brad, scuba Joe and First Mate Nate were very entertaining and did an excellent job keeping the group safe and fun. Snorkeling at the Elbow and Finger reefs provided stunning views of fish and coral along with the Jesus statue. We would definitely book this again!

Nice staff. Make sure you know how to put on all gear and practice in a pool or shallow body of water if it’s your first time. It can be overwhelming to learn in open ocean and staff does not teach how to use equipment. Beware of jellyfish! They were everywhere! Sting is not terrible and goes away in about an hour but feels like a bad sunburn. We brought a small cooler with some drinks for the ride back to shore. Alcohol is permitted but can only drink after you are done snorkeling. Overall great experience! Lots of fish/coral. Saw a small shark and stingray as well! The statue is really neat!

If you’re snorkeling in the mangroves, DON’T GO! It really is not very interesting. Maybe for 30 minutes or so but not the whole trip. I wish I had saved my money.

It was seriously magical! A family of dolphins swam right up to the boat, we saw a sea turtle, and the fish were beautiful. The water is crystal clear and Captain Brad and Scuba Joe were so knowledgeable, funny, and kind. Overall we had a wonderful time and recommended this to anyone going to Key Largo!

Pirates Cove Water Sports gave us a great snorkeling excursion even though we couldn’t go on our originally planned tour due to weather. Captain Katie and first mate Leber took us to the mangroves instead, where the water was clear and we saw lots of things under the water—Captain Katie even told us what to look for, including upside-down jellyfish. They kept everyone warm on a very cold day with hot chocolate, candy, and snacks, and the crew made sure everyone on board had a great time.

I can’t really tell you much about these experience because we felt that the weather conditions were not adequate to go with snorkelling and we chose to not go on the tour. We felt that the Torr Operator should’ve cancelled because the weather conditions were such that it was not enjoyable nor did we feel it was safe.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand your concerns, and guest safety is always our top priority. Weather conditions can change quickly on the water, and our experienced crew continuously monitors them throughout the day to determine whether it is safe to operate.
While some guests on that trip chose not to snorkel due to personal comfort levels, many others were still able to enjoy the experience and had a great time with our crew with the same weather conditions. They even got to see turtles and a shark!
