Even native Houstonians are not aware of the existence of these amazing tunnels. Blanca’s enthusiasm is contagious. She’s the right person for the tour.

Our guide Diana made learning about the underground tunnels and associated buildings both fun and historical.

Wonderful and very informative tour. Inside most of the time in air conditioning. Learned about many of the fabulous buildings in downtown Houston. You'll know more than many of the people who live in Houston.
Miguel_P, Apr 2026
Diana is an outstanding guide who provided a lot of historical context to the tour while making this a very enjoyable experience.

Diana wowed us with her extensive knowledge of the Houston tunnels. It was so interesting to learn every detail about this destination. As frequent visitors to Houston, we learned more information about an area that we pretty much knew nothing. Her incredible knowledge and attitude made this tour so enjoyable. It was a rainy day and the perfect activity. would totally recommend for visitors of all ages.

At first I came with not a lot of expectations because the price was so “cheap”. But it was really nice. Our guide Diana had a lot of knowledge and was very welcoming. Thank you.
For information: it is a 2 hour WALKING tour as described. You will not be in a car or any other transportation device.

We were very impressed by the tunnels and the history behind them. Diana welcomed us very warmly and told us all about the city. It's definitely a must-do in Houston.
Veronica_B, Apr 2026
This is a walking tour. Not mobilized transportation as advertised. Diana was a wonderful tour guide with tons of knowledge
India_L, Apr 2026
This is amazing tour and we truly enjoyed discovering so much of Houston’s history. Our guide Diana, is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who’s looking to see the downtown area of Houston and learn some interesting things. My only suggestion is that you remove the advertisement on the Viator app which shows a picture that suggests this tour comes with a riding portion because it doesn’t. It is literally two hours of walking through the underground tunnel.

Not everyone knows about the tunnels underneath Houston. I had heard about them but had never gone to see it for myself. That has changed! Our guide, Diana did a wonderful job. She was very knowledgeable about the tunnels and buildings that we got to explore. She was very enthusiastic and did an excellent job. Go see these tunnels for yourself. Quite interesting.

What a great two hour tunnel tour - 100% would have not known about the tunnels if we hadn't had booked the trip - you get no clue street level about these / so many shops and bar/food places under ground - it's a if you know you know kind of thing
Jaclyn_H, Feb 2026
Got a great deal of history of Houston that we wouldn’t have known. Definitely worth the money. A nice paced walking tour.

Very informative, we learned a lot about Houston.
Our guide made it fun!

Great tour and tour guide Diana was great. We have lived in Houston 3 years and first time visiting the tunnels. Now I understand why we do not see many people walking outside downtown, all the employees are underground.
Joy_B, Jan 2026
The tour was interesting. So much history. I've lived 90 min from Houston and didn't even know tunnels existed until a few years ago. Diana was our tour guide. She was GREAT!!! The tour doesn't just give history about the tunnels but also the buildings you're walking under.
Diana_M, Jan 2026
Diana was an excellent guide, and although we live in Houston and have visited the tunnels before, taking a guided tour is highly recommended. We learned so much, and it was an interesting step back in time. Our out-of-town visitors enjoyed it as well. Great day activity for out-of-town guests and locals alike.

Awesome tour of downtown Houston. Learned so much history and the buildings we went to just amazing. The downtown tunnel system we routed was awsome. A must tour. Dianna our tour guide was awesome.

For the first time traveling to Texas this tour was very interesting. The tour guide Diana was very knowledgeable about the under ground tunnels. She was also knowledgeable regarding the history about the older buildings and structures.
We toured this on a holiday which was great as there wasn’t a lot of people. Although some business were closed and we couldn’t see some of the other tunnels it still was an amazing experience.
Kimberly_S, Dec 2025
A little history & culture along with access to the underground tunnels. We went up to the first floor of some remarkable buildings as well! Nice tour with Diana!
