Lovely way to get history of the city- in a hands on way! The murals were beautiful and the tour was very informative

Bus ride was great. Saw lots of sites. I was expecting a bit more information on the murals but overall feel the tour was a great value.

The information provided was interesting.
A fab way to get a sense of the city, learn some history and see the main sights to decide what you want to see in more depth later in tbe day. Our driver was great, adding to the recorded narrative frequently to point out murals and drive slowly to make sure we didn't miss any!
With the city being quite spread out it was a great way to get your bearings. Would 100% recommend this tour!
Friendly and informative. Passed lots of great murals and City districts. Only travels through museum district quickly and wished we could have seen more places and attractions.
It was very informative tour and I got to see a lot of murals around the city and the tour guide was very funny n cheerful
It was ok, nothing to rave about. The driver was nice but the tour guide was subpar. I thought we would be able to get off the bus and take pictures at different stops and we were unable to. I’d explore a different bus tour if I am back in Houston and would suggest others do the same .

Our Houston City Tour is designed as a panoramic sightseeing experience, allowing guests to enjoy the city’s landmarks and skyline from our double-decker buses. We understand, however, that you were hoping to get off at different locations to take pictures, ( in this case we told was the last loop of the day- morning tours offer the option to hop on and off ) we apologize if your expectations were not clear before the tour began.
We also take your comments about the tour guide seriously, as providing an informative, engaging, and enjoyable experience is very important to us. Your feedback helps us identify areas where we can improve.

Great way to see and learn about the history of Houston. Great to get a live tour rather than recorded.
Tour was something to do, the tour guide was a bit annoying with her singing, and senseless remarks. The ride was nice and something to do in Houston.
Nice way to discover the city, and to see it all. Great history and opportunity to see murals. Would do again
The tour was very nice. Learning more about the city is always fun. Houston is an amazing place and this tour really highlights that.
This was a terrible experience. We missed our flight due to bad weather and Viator refused to change our ticked date. We did not want a refund only to change our date. Any international traveler DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR.
We are visiting from California. It was a very smooth day. The GPS took us right to the parking lot just steps away from the meeting point.
The meeting point is actually a cute store and I ended up buying a hat and glasses ($85) lol. it’s a great place to take pictures and get the whole Houston feel going. They serve specialty coffee and tea. They had a lot of snacks too: fruit cookies chips ice cream drinks (nonalcoholic).
The bus pulled up (very well kept impressive looking double-decker roofless, red bus ) right front of the store a.k.a. the meeting place and we were able to board right away. Everything was right on time and if you’re wondering it’s mostly recorded tour thank God…so the driver can focus on driving.
I think this is a great way to start a trip. That way you can get familiar with the city and make informed notes on places you want go to and experience.
The only non positive thing was the trees were not completely trimmed throughout the route of the bus and I saw the guy in front of me get hit with a branch and he was checking to see if he was bleeding so it must’ve hurt right (lots of ducking our heads after that) but i didn’t let it ruin the vibe.
I especially enjoyed that they not only took us around Downtow but they touched-down on all the other things about the city: the underground tunnels that are climate controlled with access throughout the city buildings and offer drinks and food down there too! it took us to the opposite end of town …maybe that was the north end of town? : show us the train route and how much it cost ($1.25) and the museum parts of Houston. also parts that are not so glamorous. Giving us a 360 view of things. history is always good. it was great for my friend who just moved here 3 months ago. Keep up the good work.

When we arrived to the visitor center office at 11 am in downtown for our 11:30 am tour, the office was closed. A representative opened the door just to tell us that our tour was cancelled due to not completing the minimum of passengers. We were offered to wait until the 1:30 pm tour or get a refund. After 15 min waiting for a refund, we were told the tour has been scheduled for 11:45 am. We did the tour for 1 hour and a half not the 2 hours booked.
Our driver was amazing, I forgot her name. Give her a paid day off!
In your instructions, bring a hat or umbrella to protect from Sun.
My guide was very friendly & informative, and I learned a lot on this tour. It's cool to see the city from the upper deck
A great way to experience the city and get your bearings quickly! The tour takes around 1 hr 20 mins. There are 2 stops that you can get off to explore more and wait for the pick up bus which is around 80 mins later, but we did not do that. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and good at pointing out the sites as we travelled the city. It was good way for us to understand the layout of the City and decide which things we wanted to visit later and spend more time looking at / doing.
Great tour, lots of murals, and a friendly guide. Wear lots of sunscreen if you are sitting on the top!
Had a great time! Loved the driver she made the experience of the city very educational. Just wish they had more shade on the top of the bus. Besides that perfect!

Great tour. Informative and fun. It was amazing seeing all the artwork in various places in the city. Safe drivers and a revealing view of some of the best city murals.
The tour I needed after 30 years in HTOWN. I thought I knew my city but this topped it off. I didn’t even know we had an underground tunnel. We had to explore it after the tour and yes indeed! It exits & it’s amazing! The tour is about 80 minutes and it’s worth every minute. Would do this again!!
Make sure to bring a hat, sunglasses and wear sunscreen for those with sensitive skin. If you sit on the second level, you are completely exposed to the sun and tree branches. Otherwise, great tour, kind staff, and knowledgeable recorded narration on sites.
