Absolutely the best general tour of a city we have ever been on. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in a limo. It was personal and informative, and our guide really knew and took pride in his city. In response to other reviews, we were offered 2 stops for bathroom breaks and photo ops. We would definitely recomend. I can't imagine a better introduction to the city for any price!

We had a wonderful experience with our Sightseeing Tour of Houston this weekend.
Allen, our tour guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour of the city.
He was very engaging and patient and described in great detail the history of the city during every step of the tour. He was a good storyteller!
He was punctual in picking us up. Light snacks and water were provided.. The AC van was tidy and spotless.
Highly recommend the tour!

Awesome experience. Allan was right on time, knowledgeable, an excellent driver, patient when we just had to share our experiences and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of downtown Houston. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. We learned a great deal about the history of the area, the generosity of local well-to-do residents and we heard about all of the things that make Houston great. You won't do better with any other tour.

I learned a lot of interesting facts about Houston. The neighborhoods, the money people who invest in the city, the tunnel system in the downtown area, the theaters, sports centers, museums & the numerous parks, statues & murals on the buildings.

That Viator is deceptive by publishing a a tour ride, and sending a strange and private vehicle with no company or any form of ID to pick me up. I ended up not doing the tour for safety reasons. I wish I could get a refund but if not, that’s it. Just will never do anything with Viator again and will not recommend anyone to. Viator just want money but do not care about customers safety. Your customer service was more pathetic. What is the big deal about refunding your customer for a service not rendered? Well, never again.

Please note that all activities are recorded in all of our vehicles for both customer and driver safety. We are a Houston based limousine service operating in Houston since 2009.
The experience you booked states in its details that tours are done in air conditioned luxury SUVs or our Executive Vans appropriate for size of your party or experience you reserve.
We DO NOT offer or advertise tours on large open buses as Houston weather does not make that pleasant.
*Video footage recovered from your vehicle shows you were a late arrival and not a guest at the hotel you requested pickup from. Your guide wore City of Houston issued Chauffeur License unsuccessfully attempted to assist you in finding parking for your vehicle since the hotel did not offer parking to the public. The guide explained to you and your party before departure that your chosen parking location could result in a Tow Away before return. At that point you chose to cancel your tour. Unfortunately Viator does not provide refunds for cancellations made within 24hrs of Tour Date as stated in its terms and conditions. In this case, the service was provided but due to your late arrival and lack of planning you were compelled to cancel your experience to avoid having your car towed but now seek excuses to recover funds. As none of the above would be considered fault of Viator or Allstar Transportation Limousine & City Tours your refund was denied.
We regret we were unable to provide you with the great experience we planned for you and hope you had a wonderful stay in Houston.

This is a great tour of Downtown, River Oaks, Museum and Medical Districts and the areas in between. We actually ended up with a private tour - two of us as the main tour was full. So rather than turn us away, they added an extra section. That’s excellent service.
Our guide Greg was a Houston native who is obviously not only passionate about his city but full of knowledge and tidbits.
If you are in Houston for a brief stay and would like to know more about this iconic American city- this is the tour to go with.
