Take off and cruise above Oahu’s South Shore, offering views of the famous Diamond Head crater and the Honolulu skyline. Continue gliding over Hanauma Bay and its coral reefs as you zoom above nearby volcanic cliffs and ancient volcanic outcroppings. Then make a turn above Makapu’u Point and trace an airborne path above the island’s white sand beaches.

Olomana, pass through the Nu’uanu Pali cliffs, and then proceed over the famous Pearl Harbor site, passing above the USS Arizona Memorial. - Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
- For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
- When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
- Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
- All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
- For each guest weighing 250 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 250-275 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 275 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

Must go experience! I thought I would be feared of height turned out it’s not scary at all! Only the splendid view will shock you! And thanks to the great flying skill of captain JoJo, stable and smooth, I feel safe during the trip. Anyway, very much worth it!

The Rainbow Helicopter team is professional and helpful. They are really responsive to questions through the Viator app.
Josh was the pilot for today's flight. He was excellent handling the bird and answering questions. It was my first helicopter ride and I felt confident in his ability to show us around the island and get us safely back on the ground.

The ride was beautiful. Cody the pilot pointed out a lot of the landmarks and knew a lot of the the history of it making it a really cool experience aside from the helicopter ride as well.

Justin was absolutely incredible and extremely knowledgeable! I wasn’t able to get the staffs name that sent us off, but they were extremely accommodating to the fact that we didn’t want to take our original flight time/day in high winds. We were able to move from Saturday to Monday with no issues and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. Thanks to the ride, we discovered the east side of the island and haven’t stopped exploring it ever since (although we are staying in Waikiki). We did the 30 mins and I would highly recommend. It was the perfect amount of time with a great captain and a really great crew! I hope y’all remember me because I feel like we had a few great laughs due to me antics! 😂 Thank you for having us, thank you for sharing your island with us, and thank you for being so welcoming. See you soon!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had to rebook the tour a couple times due to personal challenges. The staff was able to figure it out for us and got us through the the tour with no issue. Joey was our helicopter tour guide and was very informative. The tour was 30 mins and I say was worth the price, Pretty smooth ride despite the cloudy weather

This is an unexpected tour, at begin, I think it's not very worth the price. But after onbording, I changed my mind, it's really a exceting tour, the helicopter is not so bumpy as what I had ever thinking. We enjoyed whole of the beautiful Honolulu area, this is a perfect end to our 2024 Hawaii trip. The stuff are very fridenly expecially the pilot is very professional!

Our pilot Darrell knew the best views to take us to and shared tons of fun facts with us - from movies made at each site visited to celebrity homes and more. We were scheduled for a 30 minute ride but were not rushed at all. We were definitely on island time and will be back!

Great service from the front desk, to all the staff really, and culminating with a fantastic pilot (Emma), her engaging dialogue with each of us was appreciated and superb narration of the scenery, history and geography as it unfolded live, was second to none.
The views were spectacular (any other word falls far short), breathtaking perspectives and images that really one will never be able to experience - but on a helicopter.
5 stars and far better than my Maui copter tour.
