Spend first half on Pearl Harbor Arizona, sub and the ships and spend lunch at the aviation museum. Follow the itinerary and you will have time.

This tour is self guided. I wish I had read some more reviews ahead of time and knew to expect that. The Navy does not allow tour guides on-site which I understand. It was still a great day (4th of July) to visit Pearl Harbor. This tour had a lot packed into a day. We probably could have spent another day there to see everything- there’s just so much.

We really appreciate you highlighting that the on-site portion is self-guided. As you mentioned, Navy regulations strictly prohibit outside tour guides on the historic grounds, but we always want to make sure our guests feel prepared for this beforehand. My Pearl Harbor excursion was one of the most meaningful experiences of my trip to Oahu. I started by touring the submarine, which was incredibly fascinating, then experienced the virtual reality presentation of the Pearl Harbor attack. It was immersive, emotional, and brought history to life in a way I’ll never forget. I spent hours exploring the museums, reading the monuments, and taking in the significance of every exhibit before boarding the ferry boat to the USS Arizona Memorial.
One of the most unforgettable moments came when I found a fallen serviceman aboard the USS Arizona who shared my very unique last name. It felt deeply personal and left me wondering if we might be related somewhere down the family line.
As an Army veteran, walking the decks of the USS Missouri gave me an entirely new appreciation for the Navy. Seeing how massive the ship was while realizing how small the living quarters were made me respect the sacrifices made by those who served there even more.
Transportation was just as memorable thanks to my driver, August. A native Samoan, he shared so much Hawaiian history, culture, and storytelling throughout the day. Since I was the only passenger who stayed for the entire Pearl Harbor experience, I had the ride back to myself, but he still gave me the full island tour. Visiting the Punchbowl Cemetery, ʻIolani Palace, the King Kamehameha I statue, and even seeing the high school Bruno Mars attended made the journey back just as enjoyable as the excursion itself.
This experience was educational, emotional, inspiring, and absolutely worth every minute. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.

Other than providing a shuttle to and from Waikīkī, and having pre paid tickets. there is nothing remarkable or memorable about the service provided by this company. In actuality it probably over priced. The driver tried too hard. He actually made a few customers uncomfortable (not me). All he did was drop us off and pick us up providing a little entertainment on the way.
The low rating really comes from the company’s vehicle. It was oldish and definitely could have used a polishing and deep cleaning of the interior. The WORST part was that the air conditioning was broken and since the bus was filled with passengers we were all miserable. In fact two ticket holders demanded that they be allowed to leave before we left Pearl Harbor, taking an Uber or taxi back into town.
Pearl Harbor and its history is totally worth while seeing and experiencing. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit here to experience history and pay your respects to those that gave their all and some their lives so that we can have the lives we have today.
Like I said there was nothing worth recommending about using this company

This is largely a self-guided tour of the Pearl Harbor.museums, though participants are driven to and from Pearl Harbor and there are a couple of guided stops on the way back. Comprehensive tickets are provided for all the activities at Pearl Harbor, and guides on site provide some explanations on board the Missouri battleship and at the Arizona memorial. The tour essentially provides the convenience of not having to obtain your own tickets (which for the Arizona memorial can be difficult unless done well in advance, since those unlike the other sights at Pearl are free) and pick up and drop off at your hotel, which was done in a timely manner; you then move at your own pace through the various Pearl museums, except for the Arizona which is timed as you need to take a boat shuttle to get there. You get your own lunch, which can easily be done by the Missouri or near the Arizona museum and Bowfin sub. Recommended if you are comfortable with moving at you own pace but don’t want to have to arrange all your own tickets and transport. The exhibits and museums at Pearl Harbor are amazing and must sees for anyone interested in American and WWII history, taking you from the start of American entry into the war with the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor to the Japanese surrender on the deck of the Missouri. Don’t miss the Aviation Museum, with a great collection of aircraft from WWII onwards, or the Bowfin and the adjoining submarine museum, which demonstrate the critical role subs played in the Pacific and what it was like to be on them.

The tour was wonderful. Only issue we had was it was self guided and didn’t know that. Having them get all the tickets and not worrying about parking was wonderful.

Knowledgeable tour director, who was very patient with the different people in the van. Pearl Harbor is something everyone should experience when the come to Honolulu. The long tour gives you a lot of time to experience the different sights at your own pace and relax while eating lunch.

We had a great time on this tour. We left right off our cruise ship and were a little worried about the time working out to get to the tour on time. Viator is so easy to work with and accommodating so everything worked out just fine. Our tour guide was great and informative.; we all learned a lot about the Hawaiian history and culture. The amount of time given to do all the activities was good; we were able to do it all without rushing. If you have something to do at the and of the tour and are worried about the 9-11 hours long that it says, you should be ok as we were done after 8 hours. I do recommend this tour for all that you get to do and see!

Sobering but very informative. Loved being able to walk below deck on the USS Missouri and on the USS Bowfish. Will say that we did a LOT of walking at the USS Missouri, wasn't really prepared for that.

It's a long day but well worth it. You have plenty of time to see all the different exhibits and tour the Memorial and the Missouri. There is a lot of climbing of stairs both at the Missouri and the submarine. You are dropped off at the Arizona visitors center and you are on your own from there. Tour guide gets you to the center and then picks you up about six to seven hours later. All in all, meets the description of the package.

This tour was totally amazing, did all things possible, my Tour guides name was William, he gave heaps of information about the attacks on Pearl Harbour and lots of other information. Cousin Maya was an excellent guide. He gave us so much Hawaii history and kept things light and funny. We had an awesome time seeing all the ships and the Arizona Memorial. And Pearl Harbor is an active military base, so we got to witness a lot of military ceremonies. Time allowed would have been fine for younger folks that can walk and get around easier. That being said, as senior citizens, we were still able to see and do all our bodies would allow. Do not hesitate to go on this tour. You will enjoy!

Highly recommend the full package. I would suggest Viator to include pick up time in description. Tour starts at 7 and that is not the pick up time.

First I got a text letting me know they were running about 10 minutes late which I really appreciated. That didn’t put us behind on anything. Bring a clear bag for items you bring and may purchase and wear comfortable shoes especially if you are doing the all day tour. It says a time slot per tour and me and my husband are pretty quick and like to move fast but it did indeed take the whole day. Our tour guide was very informative about the city and couture. Our guide also stopped so we could get the infamous Leonard’s Malasadas.

So honored to visit Pearl Harbour on America’s 250th anniversary. All respect to those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our safety and freedom. Had the privilege to see Elindra Avila " Rosie the Riveter". Stand on the decks of the USS Arizona and USS Missouri "Mighty Mo" battleships as well as the USS Bowfin submarine.
Tour guide William Chye was amazing and made this an enlightening experience.

Pearl Harbour tour was very accommodating and informative. Our guide Will, was very knowledgeable about Pearl Harbour and the local history. Will injected humor into his dialog which helped make the day pass quickly. The Tour we took was a full day. We got picked up at 6 a.m. and didn't get back until 5 p.m.
