- Respectful Silence: Visitors are encouraged to maintain a respectful silence while on the USS Arizona Memorial to honor the fallen. The atmosphere is one of reflection and reverence, allowing tourists to connect emotionally with the events of the past
- Purses and bags are not allowed inside Pearl Harbor. All bags may be stored for $7.00 each
- Clear plastic bags are allowed, such as those allowed at football games, in which the contents are readily visible
- Bags containing medical equipment unsuitable for lightweight, plastic, transparent shopping bags are allowed
- Meals are at your own expense
- There are a few on-site dining options at the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center and near the Battleship Missouri, such as food trucks, snack stands, or cafes where you can purchase and enjoy food before or after your tour
- Sites are subject to close due to stormy weather
- There is no smoking allowed on the visitor center grounds or at the memorial
- Wear comfortable shoes you will be walking much of the tour
- No swimwear is allowed
- If you enjoy your tour tipping your guide in cash is always appreciated
- All entry tickets to the attractions are included and will be provided by your driver on the morning of your tour
- Not recommended for travelers who cannot walk four city blocks
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers

If you are looking for an experience which is stress free from a planning perspective, this is it. Jorge was our tour guide and driver and he was a wealth of information. Gave a history lesson on the ride to Pearl Harbor and then wonderful hints on how to get the most of the experience once we were passed the entry point. The memorial was solemn and beautiful. Would highly recommend.

That you need to bring your picture ID with you in order to get on the bus to go to the battleship and airfield.

Just to clarify for all guests: Pearl Harbor strictly requires a picture ID for entry, so please be sure to bring one with you when boarding the bus to the battleship and airfield. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free experience for everyone. We did send a notification a day prio to the tour about bringing one.

This was a great tour my personal thought is it was a little too long and we were all worn out at the end of the tour. The heat might have contributed to wearing us out.

After unnecessary confusion over the exact pickup spot, we were picked up (late) at the cruise port and dropped off at Pearl Harbor. The driver then came back to pick us up at a designated time and drove us back to the cruise port with no other visits—only a drive-thru at the Punch Bowl cemetery and a quick photo stop at the Royal Palace. There’s no real value. It’s basically a transfer with commentary and tickets provided.

We purchased the Complete Pearl Harbor Experience and were were able to gain entrance to all of the exhibits and museums there. It was a self-guided tour and we were dropped off at the entrance with directions on scanning the barcode for the Arizona Memorial to get in the queue and when to meet back. We did get to see everything in about 6 hours. The we went to the Punchbowl Cemetery and back to the hotel by 3:00. We could have spent more time at Pearl Harbor (until 3:30.)

Very nice tou. Guide Jorge, I believe was helpfu. The guide brought us to the event and gave use basically directions of what to do. This tour is self-guided most of the time. The driver is a wealth of information.

Buyer beware!
Aloha Sunshine Tours "Complete Pearl Harbor Experience from Waikiki Area" did not deliver as promised.
I chose to purchase this tour because in the tour description, the company specifically stated that the USS Arizona boat tour ticket was included with this excursion. IT WAS NOT!
When we exited the bus upon arrival at Pearl Harbor we were told by the bus driver, Jorge, that we could go wait in the ticket standby line if we wanted to visit the Arizona Memorial by boat.
When my brother tried to clarify why our tickets weren't being included with our tour, the driver, erupted and verbally attacked our group of five by shouting "I knew that you people were going to be trouble as soon as you got on the bus".
His speech and physical demeanor toward us was aggressive, threatening, and frightening. Some of our group was afraid to take the return bus trip with him to Waikiki.
I'm a veteran traveler, having been on over fifty organized tours/excursions since retiring over ten years ago.
This Aloha Sunshine tour was my absolute worst travel experience, by far!!!
I do not recommend this tour, especially the driver/guide, Jorge.

Great experience, but not enough time to explore everything at Pearl Harbor! We ended up missing the aviation and submarine museums, but of course we thoroughly explored everything else.

Perfect size group. Aerial was our guide and he was great at keeping us together and on-time without rushing. We saw all of the exhibits and museums and had time to wander and reflect at each stop. Aerial even played the Ukulele for us. He shared Hawaiian culture information and history.

The complete Pearl Harbour Experience organised by Aloha Sunshine was a perfect way to see the harbour without the worries or hassle of organising it yourself. The guide had everything sorted including pickup at or very close to your hotel, guided tour to the location with background knowledge of the island’s culture and history. At the memorial, tickets and times were sorted out hassle free, a brief rundown on how it all works and we were away. Upon pickup for our return, the guide again shared his wealth of knowledge on the geology of the islands. This is the you want if you don’t want to worry about a thing.
Also if you are lucky enough to get a guide named Ariel, he has the most amazing presence and personality. His knowledge was on point.

The actual tour was great! The driver Jorge was excellent!!! The van they gave him to drive was not good!!! The first part of the tour was very good… the 2nd half not so good… AC went out in the van… occasionally he was hit a bump in the road and it would start working…. Just disappointed that they would give this excellent driver/guide the worst van to drive! Pearl Harbor never disappoints!!!

I enjoyed USS Bowfin, seeing where the surrender was signed and visiting the USS Arizona. Memorial. The Peal Harbour attack is such an important part of history , I glad to finally go there.

Really lucky to of had a fantastic guide. Kanoe knew so much about the island, the tour and just generally was a wealth of knowledge. Grounds were kept clean and maintained well. Monuments were insightful and interesting. If I could advice of one thing, signage needs to make people aware of what is involved in the different areas, although it might be obvious to some for us we were unaware of how hard it was to go through the “doors” / openings in the submarine. We are tall and able bodied and had slight difficulties and crossed paths / walked with people who walked with a walking aid / mentioned they had just had lower extremity issues. This couple both be displayed when booking but also on the grounds

Great experience but the time allocation needs work. Half the time at the Arizona followed by rushing through the Missouri. Guide was knowledgeable but crossed the line into rudeness at times.

The guides were extremely knowledgeable !!
Our tour driver did not complete his duties for the day- so left us to wait in long lines to get from one place to the next, wasting our precious time. Therefore We missed part of exhibits

The day of your tour our driver did fall ill and we sent a replacement driver that doesn't have the permit to drive from Pearl Harbor to Ford Island. There is always the free shuttle that goes back and forth. I will check into this. Mahalo

Pearl Harbor itself was amazing. It’s Viator’s service I have the problem with. The pickup time and place was totally different than what the transportation company had. Terrible communication. I was charged twice for the trip.

It was so profound standing in the spots where WWII started and where it ended. I cannot imagine the fear that must have permeated the air that day and the days following. This place really brought all of that to life.
Definitely use all the audio tours allotted to you.
We could have used another hour or two! We spent a lot of time on the USS Arizona side and walks and museums and had to rush the USS Missouri and basically ran through the air museum.
