Thank you! So many folks come to Gettysburg thinking it is only the fighting outside of town, but a town tour to learn what the civilians had to endure and the fighting in the streets helps make the visit complate.
Small group allowed guide to relate to you. We learned a lot of history from a perspective of towns people.

Ted did a great job giving us a tour of downtown Gettysburg. We'll paced with activities for the kids to keep them egaged. They also got a souvenir to take home.

Guides are very knowledgeable and stories are interesting. Although the constant traffic noise can be disconcerting the guides do their best to rise above it

It was awesome, very sobering and brought to light the true horrors of war affecting everyone (and everything) for miles around. Our guide Doug was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we highly recommend him. His presentation was a nice compliment to the tour of the battlefield we took the day before.

This was a very informative tour. It was an easy walk, only an hour and the stories were very interesting. The things we learned on this tour were not the same stories that we had heard at the battlefield, they seemed more personal while being historically accurate and peaked the human interest.

Karen provided an excellent tour providing various residents' perspective of the battle of Gettysburg. Crazy to see several shells embedded in the exterior walls of a couple of homes over 160 years later.

Brenda was an incredible guide! I highly recommend not just learning/touring the battlefields but also doing this walking tour. We learned so much about the citizens and the surrounding buildings. We had our 10 year old son with us and Brenda made it so much fun for kids and adults! You can’t go wrong with the 1 hr tour!
