This was a very informative tour. It was an easy walk, only an hour and the stories were very interesting. The things we learned on this tour were not the same stories that we had heard at the battlefield, they seemed more personal while being historically accurate and peaked the human interest.

Karen provided an excellent tour providing various residents' perspective of the battle of Gettysburg. Crazy to see several shells embedded in the exterior walls of a couple of homes over 160 years later.

Brenda was an incredible guide! I highly recommend not just learning/touring the battlefields but also doing this walking tour. We learned so much about the citizens and the surrounding buildings. We had our 10 year old son with us and Brenda made it so much fun for kids and adults! You can’t go wrong with the 1 hr tour!

Our tour guide Terry was so knowledgeable and he was so interesting to listen to as he told us stories about the civilians that lived in Gettysburg while the battle went on. He took his time and answered questions as well.

We expected hearing about how the citizens in Gettysburg handled July 1/2/3 and after! We did hear a bit of that but more Lincoln and Mary talk that honestly had nothing to do with Gettysburg! Sorry nice man for our guide but tbh he needs to make it sound a bit more interesting!

Our guide, Karen (a lifetime resident of Gettysburg), did an excellent job sharing the unique and interesting history of the different stories Gettysburg civilians experienced during the war. Even if you've visited Gettysburg before, it's well worth the time and money spent to do this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it!!

Regardless if you are a history buff or just a casual learner you will enjoy the walking tour through this beautiful historic town. It is certainly not overly vigorous and the guide has tailored to the needs/wants or experience of the group as he promised initially. Time for questions is allotted and our experience was casual. The guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable of course and was able to connect with his audience. I highly recommend “Terry” as your tour guide.

Bruce Davis was an awesome guide! He walked with us in the cold, windy weather and did not seem bothered by it at all. He knew a lot about the battle and Gettysburgs history in general. We loved this tour and would do it again!

We enjoyed our walking tour. The guide seemed quite knowledgeable and told several stories about the different citizens of Gettysburg and what they endured during the battle. I especially liked the statue of Lincoln and the story behind it. I’d definitely recommend taking all of the tours you can fit into your visit.

Our tour guide, Rob, gave an informative walk through Gettysburg which helped the conflict between the states come alive fir us.
He answered all our questions with ease and explained indepth.
