Entertaining, informative tour of Gettysburg. Our guide was Brad G. who engaged us with stories/ accounts and thought provoking questions about what to do in the given situation (hint: there are no wrong answers) that pull you into the situation.
I highly recommend taking this tour after the Citizen Experience to cover more of Gettysburg and get accounts from both the townspeople and the soldiers who fought.

Great tour that expands on the fighting leading up to the battle on the hill. Lots of insight into what happened to the people of Gettysburg and how they weathered the historic battle.

We enjoyed a detailed description of the events that took place on the streets of Gettysburg. Our tour guide brought attention to many details of signs of the war that we never noticed before. It was extremely interesting.

Our tour guide (Karen S) was very kind and professional. She provided a wealth of information to us while also offering suggestions for places along the tour area to visit. Karen smiled while speaking to us and to those walking by. She ensured the road was safe to pass and traffic had stopped or came to a stop before allowing us to cross. We left happy and informed!

The guide was a very nice older gentleman but he was not prepared to give a tour. We had to stand still as he shuffled through his paperwork to read from it what he was telling us about. Also shuffled through pictures to show us. He also stood very close to us and when he spoke to us he placed his face very close to ours which was uncomfortable. We were the only two on this tour as the weather was bad but we had decided to make the most of it but in hindsight we wished we had cancelled.

Our guide, Brenda, did an excellent job sharing the unique and interesting history of the different battle/dangerous events the town of Gettysburg experienced during the war. Even if you've visited Gettysburg before, it's well worth the time and money spent to do this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it!!

Tour operator did not show up at the agreed upon time. Also did not answer txt contacts to support. HORRIBLE SERVICE from this Gettysburg tour guide company, it's a complete RIP OFF after we even paid in advance!

It is unfortunate that you feel this way, as it is true that an error was made on our part. We book hundreds of tours each year and I can tell you that this is the first time this has happened.
Yes, we messed up and did not have a guide present. However, our scheduler reached out to you to apologize and offered you a complimentary tour next time you are in Gettysburg. You were also issued a prompt refund.
Mistakes happen and we own our error and tried to make amends. However, your comment suggests we did not address the matter properly. We did by offering our apologies, a free tour, and a refund. I don't know what else we could have done.

First time in Gettysburg and I am so happy my group booked this tour. Jerry was an amazing tour guide, the kind makes you forget you’re even on a tour and instead you feel like you’re living inside of a documentary. I’d highly recommend anyone to book this tour especially if it’s your first time visiting the town!

Getting the full picture of the battle from tje towns perspective. Can you imaging 100,000 soldiers coming into town with wounded and dying. Horses pulling cannons. North entreaties and shooting at the south pursuers. The confederates came from the north and occupied the town for two days.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was a great introduction to the battle of Gettysburg as it applied to the towns people especially. It was my first visit and it really oriented me to the area and sequence of events. Well worth it!

Our guides name was Karen Saltzgiver, she was fantastic and so knowledgeable. My wife and I felt so lucky to have such a great guide. She answered our questions and knew so much about the history. When we come back again we will make sure to request a tour she is doing.
