This tour was wonderful!! Christina, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable!! Christina's lively and engaging descriptions of The Battle of Gettysburg kept our interest during the twp (2) hour tour. Thanks to Christina I have a better knowledge of the who, what and where of the the Battle of Gettysburg!! She vividly described the topography of the three (3) day battle and how the hills and dales played into the battle plans. I am from Pennsylvania and did not realize how close the Union Army came to being defeating by the Confederate Army. The devastation suffered by the town of Gettysburg was heartbreaking. It took years for the town to recovery. The tens of thousands of lives that were lost in the three (3) day battle was overwhelming to hear - so many lives lost!! Families devastated. The Battle of Gettysburg truly shaped our American history. If you have the opportunity, please sign up for this tour and specifically ask for Christina to be your guide. You will not regret it!! We all loved the history of Gettysburg, especially my 9 year old grandson. He kept saying it was “The BEST day of his life”! The wide smile on his face at seeing the battlefield’s, cannons and monuments was priceless. We visited in October and it was beautiful weather and the trees changing colors were stunning. We will be back!

This was a new tour for us We've been here before but have only done the walking tours. Chris was a wonderful guide and the stories she told were new, researched and family friendly. Ron, our bus driver was very accommodating as we had several older folks with us All and all it was very nice
