Wonderfully fun and informative one and a half hour walking tour with guide Noelle. So much unknown history to us from the northeast part of the country that was learned. Would recommend it to anyone other than very close minded, religious fanatics.

There was just nothing to this tour. It was basically the tour guide talking and telling stories. We stayed within a five or six block radius of the starting point, saw a few buildings that had once been brothels or bordellos, and that was about it. Just nothing to it. I wanted to like this tour, but I just can’t recommend it…

Who knew Galveston had such a RED LIGHT DISTRIC back in the day! This tour was as much about history as it was about ghosts. Here I learned that people may come to the Galveston for a little fishing and beach time now, but back in the day, the good times were a bit more of a sordid nature. My tour was small and personal, and our guide certainly knew his stuff. This was the 4:00 tour, and although the creepiness factor is usually higher at night, I could see the places our guide pointed out much better while the sun was out. Of course, he had a few photos on his phone that pushed the creepy factor up regardless of the time of day!

fun Friday walk thru the historic red light district with Jeff. He was a great guide and told some very colorful tales. Especially liked the oldest drugstore in Texas. Off beat journey into little known history near the strand. Adults only.

Informative tour but combined with bar crawl so dealt with drunks the entire time. Tour guide Chris was very funny and knowledgeable as well as stuck around to answer all of our questions. We were informed upon arrival that we would also be part of a longer bar crawl tour, which we didn’t partake. Would have preferred these tours be separate or clarify what you are getting. To have to walk with drunks making the same bad jokes and smoking the entire tour definitely detracted from our experience.

Rob did a great job with the tour and even added ghost stories. There wasn't too much walking, and he even allowed sitting breaks for those in the group with mobility issues.

Our guide Christopher was great, he was very entertaining and educational. We saw a lot of sites and got a lot of history about Galveston. We also saw some places we decided to go back to for food and drinks. We enjoyed the walking tour, the personality and energy that Christopher had, and the history education he provided.

My spouse and I took this tour. We met outside Leelands where Ms. Annette was waiting for us on the corner of the building. She walked us around the strand and gave us really great stories of Galveston that I had never heard. Ms. Annette was well informed and we learned different histories of many buildings we walked past. As a native Houstonian, it was great hearing them. We found some spookies, had some laughs, and learned a bit a bit of history. Would highly recommend!

Asa was an incredibly informative and entertaining tour guide!! He even took us to see some bonus sites since we were the only two on the tour! We loved the passion he shared for his historical knowledge of Galveston. Our only regret is that we did not take the tour earlier in our vacation so we could visit all of the spots on the island that he recommended. We would sign up for another tour with him in a heartbeat!
