We have done a number of e-bike tours and these bikes were by far the worst we have experienced. Didn’t have basic safety features like a bell/horn or rear view mirror. The bikes seemed old and not well kept. They surged forward, no matter which level of assist I set. The tour guide was ok.

Lots of street travel and many little places to see. Since you’re both in the city and on the Seawall, bring a light jacket.

We had an amazing tour of Galveston. Saw and discovered new things we would have never known if we hadn’t taken the ride. Our guide Aaron was excellent. Very informative, and kept us safe along our ride threw neighborhoods and the ocean front.

Amazing great time will definitely do it again. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. I would recommend to either do tour guide or rent your own and enjoy the island its self.

Pleasant morning E-Bike ride filled with history and sightseeing along the way. We really enjoyed riding the bikes into the back neighborhoods and seeing the architecture and listening to the guide telling us about the homes and buildings. You get to go and see places that you would not normally see and go the back roads that are less traveled. As first time E-Bike riders and having been a several years since riding a bike, I was a little concerned about how my experience would be, but after a few minutes of instructions and a little practice before we left, we were good to go. I highly recommend this E-Bike tour if you want to see a lot of Galveston and find places you might want to travel back to and spend some more time exploring.

Jason was our tour guide and he was EXCEPTIONAL! Absolutely hands down best city tour I’ve experienced. He went above and beyond to show not just the obvious tourist spots like the Bishop’s Palace - but many, many hidden gems that revealed so much of Galveston’s rich history. He brought the stories of the 1900’s to life. Thank you, Jason - you made our trip from Boston 1000x worth it!

I highly recommend booking this place. I’m bad with names but the tour guide with the glasses she was totally awesome and she made the experience the best for me and wife. I love the E bikes because they’re super fast and reliable. The group we rode with were totally awesome!!

Guide was knowledgeable and interactive with the group.
E-bikes are a great way to tour an area.
Only issue was the guide went all out on speed a few times leaving those who weren’t as comfortable on speed behind until we came to next stop.
Wish we were given the opportunity (time) to take pics in front of murals we passed. Would have enjoyed passing the “Galveston” mural.
Overall enjoyed and would recommend.

We traveled from the Boston area and saw many positive reviews for the Zipp eBike Tours. I booked a tour for my husband and myself… we were absolutely not disappointed! Aaron, our tour guide, is a local and knew all the ins and outs of the city. The best places to eat/drink, all of it! Anything you could imagine, he knows it! Our tour was the perfect mix of history, stories and humorous commentary. Will absolutely be coming back and looking up Aaron/Zipp eBikes when we return! We always take tours when we travel and this was by far the most enjoyable/authentic.

Aaron’s a fantastic storyteller with a local historian’s point-of-view. We had a blast riding electric bikes for the first time — Aaron’s also a great coach — and hearing his wonderful tales of vegetables, telegrams, nuns, and pirates. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
