Willie D is an excellent tour guide, and has a vast amount of knowledge of the history of the mob and gangsters in Galveston. We were shocked to learn that the mob has been in Galveston for so many decades and all of their illegal activities.
Willie D has a notebook to show us pictures of the gangsters and some of the buildings where they were.
His enthusiasm and the way he told stories made us hang on to every word.
We did not realize how wealthy Galveston was in the last century and how prominent Galveston was the major cities of the United States.
This is the best tour we have ever been on, both Willie D himself and his content. !!!!!

David was very funny and extremely knowledgable. He had a history story about the people and places that made Galveston what it is today. He tied the past into now seamlessly! A wonderful way to spend 1/1/2 hours!

A fun interactive tour around Galveston. Lots of fun. We were in a mock up model T and dressed as Gangsters as we drove around the island to see the sites and history of the “free” Galveston movement.

David went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and informative. With the Tommy gun props the Italian accent here and there and some music from that era, he really had you stepping back in time. Will definitely recommend this tour.

Willie D was such a great tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Galveston and drove us around in the bullet- riddled Model T that was so much fun waving at the crowd and enjoying the “honk” of the car! We loved his voice and him getting into character to describe all the interesting folks that made Galveston such a hot spot! The history started before the 1900 Storm and included the rebuilding of Galveston and even information about Tilman Fertitta that I had already assumed! Such an incredible story about the Moody, Maceo, and Fertitta families! Taking pictures with the “guns” made some memories that will be treasured! DEFINITELY recommend Willie D and the Mob History Galveston tour! You won’t regret it!

This was a very interesting tour. He not only pointed out the points of interest but also had photos to show and memorabilia. He had glasses and hats for us to wear if we wanted to.
