We had an amazing time on the Galveston Haunted Harbor Tour! It was the perfect mix of spooky and fun, with just the right amount of history woven in.
The guide was fantastic—super engaging, knowledgeable, and had a great way of telling the stories that kept everyone entertained the entire time. Hearing the haunted history of Galveston while actually being out on the harbor made it feel even more eerie and memorable.
The views at night were beautiful, and the whole experience felt unique compared to typical ghost tours. It was well organized, easy to enjoy, and something I’d definitely do again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and slightly spooky activity in Galveston! 👻

This was so much fun! The history, the humor and the weather were perfect! My family all agree thai was the best part of our Galveston vacation!!! And my daughter even caught a glimpse of Frenchie on video!! Such a good visit when slowed down you can see a face!

I can’t recommend the Haunted Harbor boat tour in Galveston enough — it turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings I’ve had in town. From the moment we boarded at Pier 21 after sunset, the atmosphere felt just right: the gentle rocking of the boat, darkness creeping in over the water, and the distant glow of lights against the shoreline.
The guides were fantastic: knowledgeable without sounding like a lecture, charming with a hint of dramatic flair. Their stories of shipwrecks, old legends, hurricane tragedy, and restless spirits were spooky and engaging without being over-the-top scary. They wove local history into the ghost tales in a way that made you care about the people behind them.
The boat itself was clean and comfortable, with just enough ambient hush to let you feel the chill of a good ghost story. I appreciated that the tour balanced the eerie with humor — there were moments that made us all laugh, even as we leaned forward to hear what might lurk around the next corner of the harbor.
What I loved most:
• The setting. There’s something magical about gliding through the dark waters of Galveston harbor, hearing creaking legends about old ships and storms, with the bay breeze blowing in.
• The narrators. Their delivery was smooth and personable. You could tell they’d done this many times, but they still sounded excited by the tales.
• The pacing. It wasn’t rushed. There was enough time to take in the water, the skyline, and the hush of the night between stories — which made the scares more effective.
• The little extras. The hints of local lore (haunted buildings, the 1900 storm, strange sightings) felt authentic, not just generic ghost-tour fodder.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this tour is a must-do for anyone who wants to experience Galveston after dark in a different way. Spooky, atmospheric, and full of personality — I left wanting to grin and shiver at the same time.

It was so spooky, our guides were silly and interactive. They told us their names, but I forgot now. We saw a bird named Felipe on a ghost ship. The only cement ship left. We saw the space launch station owned by Elon Musk.

The tour guides are entertaining. Unfortunately, we had a group of people who had too much to drink on our boat. And one of them grabbed the microphone and was beyond obnoxious and the tour guides didn’t do anything to stop him.

My husband and I had such a great experience on the Haunted Harbor Tour! The guides were not only entertaining but also incredibly knowledgeable about Galveston’s history and ghostly legends. What a fantastic way to kick off spooky season! The Galveston Haunted Harbor Tour was fun, eerie, and totally unique. The nighttime boat ride gave us views of sites you just can’t see from shore, and the Captain and Narrator made the whole trip both informative and entertaining. Their ghost stories and local legends had just the right mix of history and spookiness. Between the dark waters, cool breeze, and glowing city lights, the atmosphere was perfect—just the right amount of creepy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and different ghost tour in Galveston!

The captain and host were amazing from start to finish! Their storytelling and narrations really brought the haunted experience to life. They kept everyone engaged the entire time, and the dancing on the boat was such a fun bonus! We had a blast and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for spooky fun on the water.

went on the 8:15 haunted boat tour! Really fun and heard some interesting stories! We live in Jamaica Beach, on Galveston island, I can’t wait for our next group of visitors so we can go again! Such a good time and reasonable priced, everyone is in a good mood and was laughing the whole time the workers are super funny! Easy to find the location and arrived/departured at the give times. I would definitely recommend and if we come back will we definitely be doing the dolphin watching with this company!
