We had a wonderful kayak experience with this tour company. All the staff members we interacted with were very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Rachel was our guide and she was absolutely fabulous! She has a wealth of knowledge growing up in the area and furthering her studies with the ecology area in college. Highly recommended this company.

I really enjoyed kayaking through the narrow mangroves. I would have never had the nerve to do that on my own and would probably have gotten lost. Our guide was knowledgeable. We saw flying fish, dolphins, a small shark and many birds.

Guide was great super fun! Manatees were not in season, but we managed to find a mom and a baby and another one. Plenty of photo op and they take great pictures- a great day!

Mike did great as a tour guide, even during my melt down when I got stuck for the 5th time! Be aware of mosquitoes! And crawling crabs on trees too!!

Thank you for your review Lori! Yes, we do have mangrove crabs and some mosquitos, but that's just part of paddling in a nature preserve. From one of our other locations you would be able to just paddle in canals and stay a little farther from nature if that's what you prefer. We had a beautiful day for kayaking. We saw a bald eagle, osprey, blue herons, and an ibis. Learned a lot about the mangroves. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and fun to be with! Thank you for a great experience!

Was a solid trip through a tight mangrove and open waters. It was my wife’s first time and the tour was solid it was us and one other group. I’d recommend joint kayaks for inexperienced kayakers. We got lucky with a small group. With a larger group I’m sure it can be intense. We had to get out in one shallow area. Def a solid tour.

I personally had a great time during the tour. The guide was super confident, which made us feel safe, and the views were amazing. I wasn't expecting much so I enjoyed myself. It was pricey but I'm happy to pay to have an expert navigate me through new bodies of water and the guide did make us all feel very safe. However, after seeing everyone else's reviews and retellings of their experiences online I see now that my group got the short end of the stick. Our guide was very chatty, but only gave us relevant information on mangroves and manatees for what could've been a total of 20 minutes out of the 3 hrs we spent with him. He took us to a beautiful beach, unsure of the name because he just said it was a 15 min break and disappeared until it was time to head back out. The most disappointing thing was that they told us to leave our phones behind because our guide would take pictures with his camera as we made our way through, come to find he only took 1 group photo, while I see all other groups have albums of candids and group shots of over 40 pictures. I would give anything for at least one blurry picture of me going through the mangroves. Don't let my experience deter you, looking at other reviews and other people's experience it looks like my group just got a rare dud.

Our rule of thumb is to have at least 20 pictures from each tour, including each person on that tour. I did reach out to the guide that took you out and spoke with them about the lack of photos and not being present at the beach, and this won't happen again. I am sending you a voucher for another tour, so we can give you the experience you deserve whenever you're ready. Again, I apologize that we let you down, but I promise we'll do a much better job next time. -Stefan
