Captain Joel and first mate Kate were both wonderful! The Copacetic is a beautiful vessel. Very safe and very comfortable. Nothing compares to clipping away under full sail which we did. Multiple dolphin sightings, beautiful views of the coastline, ice cold refreshments and a stunning sunset all included. I highly recommend this tour!

Sunset sailing trip was FANTASTIC! Captain Joel and First Mate Sammy are very friendly and accommodating. We went full sail, there was plenty of wind that day in late March 2026. I sat on the hammock the entire trip and loved it! Saw lots of dolphins… breaching, jumping and being playful. Would definitely do this trip again.

Sunset cruise out of Ft Myers was great! So cool to watch captain David and first mate Jake handle the boat with expertise. Would definitely recommend and do it again!

Fantastic sunset cruise! This is the one to choose if you want to have a nice relaxing time with great hosts. We saw dolphins and heard historical things about the area. My husband and I had a wonderful time!

This was such a wonderful ending to an amazing trip! The Captain and Busan was outstanding, informative, but also laid back where we never felt we had to interact---it was a full boat, but it felt like it was just me and my partner.

Excellent experience. The captain was willing to follow any dolphins we sighted. He made sure the boat was positioned perfectly for pictures. He was a wealth of knowledge and so pleasant to spend the evening with!

Padded benches not too bad. Little crowded. Its a sit down trip. Save padded seats for older folks. Nice sail boat, goes fast if windy. Friendly captain and crew mate. Pretty chill, worth $70 for sure to go in the water and hope for a sunset!

I took the sunset cruise yesterday at Fort Myers with Cpacetic Sailing. It is the most stunning sunset I've ever seen! The crew took great care of the tourists on the boat, with smooth and comfortable sailing experience, best view before, during, and after sunset and touring around the bay, variety of drinks, great music, and also photo taking! Highly recommend!!

Excellent! Kind, attentive, knowledgeable. Great music selection, boat clean and not over crowded. Offered drinks, pay for alcohol. Easy and relaxed. Take this cruise it's well worth it. We got the sails up and saw the sunset and felt the wind so great!

This was an amazing experience, both the gentlemen on the boat were very informative and answered any questions about the boat, area, and sailing and enjoyed what they were doing, would recommend to anyone, plus complimentary refreshments and the option to buy drinks made it enjoyable for all ages!

Don’t do this trip. Very boring, and the Co-captain made racist comments towards me and my friend. I asked him to play more upbeat music, and he said no twerking to Cardi B allowed. I was trying to help him improve the atmosphere of the boat, since everybody looked like they were about to fall asleep. My friend and I, who were the only black people on the boat, both said, We don't twerk or listen to Cardi B Then he proceeded to tell me he used to run a boat up and down the river, and all he heard and saw was Cardi B and women twerking. How much more racist can you be? I was so embarrassed and humiliated. My friend and I are in our mid-50s, and why would you assume we would want to twerk on your boat on a sunset cruise, other than you assuming we were black, so this is the only music we know.
Also, it was my birthday along with a few other people's, and he acknowledged their birthdays but never mentioned mine. He would walk right past us and offer other people drinks. I would have to call him over to get a water bottle.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we want to start by offering our most sincere apology. Reading your review was upsetting, and we’re truly sorry that what should have been a joyful celebration on the water became a hurtful and disappointing memory.
There is absolutely no excuse for the comments that were made to you and your friend. We’ve spoken at length with the crew member involved, and want you to know he has been counseled directly and thoroughly. He understands how inappropriate and offensive his words were… not just in content, but in the assumptions they reflected. He feels terrible for the way he made you feel and is committed to using this moment as a serious learning experience. We want to ensure this never happens again to anyone else. This is not who we are.
It is unacceptable that your birthday was overlooked, that you were made to feel excluded, and that you were treated with anything less than the respect and hospitality every guest deserves. No one should ever feel unwelcome or singled out… especially not on what should have been a special and relaxing occasion.
Please know how deeply sorry we are for what you experienced. We are grateful you brought this to our attention, and hope you’ll consider this message not only as an apology but as a promise that we will be better.

We loved our excursion with Southwest Florida Sunset Sail. They were very nice. It was a beautiful sunset, and we saw some dolphins. It exceeded our expectations. We would definitely do it again.
