Best Excursion

We had a wonderful time! The boat was pristine, captain very personable and accommodating. We found shells in the beautiful shallow waters and on the beautiful beach. We finished our time with a relaxing boat ride and dolphin sighting. All in all it was the best excursion we have been on and will book again.

All of our family truly enjoyed the shelling trip. From experiencing the dolphins playing over the waves. They were so close to us we even saw a mother and baby jumping together. When we went to the Island we were able to collect so many different shells and just soaking up the sun and beautiful view. Our captain Mike was a pleasure to talk to and gave us such a wonderful boat trip.

Great Experience for a Family

Captain Mike was a great tour guide filled with information as we sailed away. We enjoyed the show that he was able to attract for miles. It was beautiful, then we saw manatees . We stopped at a beach filled with so many shells, that was fun as we had way too many to choose from lol but we have a beautiful collection to take home. We did some snorkeling, that was ok because the water wasn’t clear enough to really see much. It’s not like Hawaii but again we enjoyed being able to do it. Thank you Captain Mike. My family and I really enjoyed it.

We had a great shelling experience with Mike. Communication before the trip was excellent so we knew exactly where to be and when. Upon arrival it was a quick 10-15 minutes to the first beach on Big Hickory Island. It was close to low tide and we were able to find a sand dollar and multiple fighting conch shells in excellent shape along with a great variety of other shells. We spent about 45 minutes there and then chose to move to the next area just a few minutes north on the point at Bonita Springs Beach where we found more good stuff. On our way back we were lucky enough to spot a shark cruising in the shallows - got the perfect "Jaws" shot! We visited multiple beaches this trip (Sanibel, Captive, Boca Grande) and got our biggest shells on this excursion. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience

Great experience, Mike took us to amazing locations, he took the time to go after a dolphin and a manatee with us so the kids could see them. The shelling beaches were incredible, only boat accessible, so there were many beautiful shells to collect (and to take home as souvenirs) . We wanted a private experience, and that’s exactly what we got. Nice touch with a cooler with cold water on the boat - and Mike’s communication to tell us where to park and how to locate him. I’d definitely do it again, totally worth it!

Great trip for families

Mike took us to a nearby island with a great selection of shells. We had the beach to ourselves and had an hour to search at our leisure. On the way to the beach we saw two dolphins and a variety of birds. It was very enjoyable, scenic, and relaxed. And we were able to bring home beautiful shells as mementos of the trip.

Great time. Could have stayed all day. It was easy boat ride and things for all of us to do. Shells I have not seen elsewhere. We would do it again. Enjoyed having the boat all to ourselves.
