There is no physical address: Be sure to pull up Big Hickory Island on either google or Apple Maps. We are located at the south bridge of the island on Big Hickory Pass. Look for the GIANT WHITE TRAILER! It's about as tall as an RV! There will be other outfitters too on busy days!

Excellent tour, service, and equipment. Mike was calm, knowledgeable, and easy to be around. The location was easy to find, nice to paddle around, and easy to get in/out of kayak.

My husband and I really enjoyed our evening on the water. This was our first time using a Hobie kayak so it took a little bit to get used to the peddling but once we did things went well. They do not work well in shallow water so there were several times we had to paddle which was fine by us. Mike our guide is very knowledgeable and we learned some interesting facts about the area. The only thing standing in the way of a 5 star rating for us is the lack of bathroom facilities close by.

It is my passion to provide as much of an exceptional experience as I can muster and to share my love for the area to my customers.
Unfortunately, as we are in a preserve and not a state park, the county has not provided restroom facilities to the island. It is something I always point out and warn to my customers upon booking with me. We are indeed basically camping for two hours and nature is your only option. That is the same for any business that operates out of Big Hickory Island. We do provide ample amounts of opportunity to stop for bathroom needs.
Thank you for your feedback on my equipment. Hobie kayaks are arguably the best brand in the industry and are leading the way for many innovations for kayaking. The learning curve for paddling, not to be confused with pedaling, is a little higher than traditional kayaks due to there being a rudder that needs to be under control. Despite that, these kayaks do perform more superior than other brands in paddling and both pedaling. Most of the tour is pedaling.
