A combination of Jet Skiing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, the SEABOB is a truly remarkable experience that lets you swim with the fishes quietly and safely. After a short gear fitting and training session on the SEABOB, explore local reefs where you can dive up to 8 feet (2.5 meters) and see a variety of aquatic sea life.

Meet behind Pelican Grand Beach Resort on the beach. Bring towel, water, extra clothes, and a shirt or one-piece swimsuit. Optional: your own snorkel. We provide Seabob, mask, safety gear, and winter wetsuits ($10). Take Dramamine if prone to motion sickness.

- We recommend you bring your own water with you.
- For windy days we highly recommend taking over the counter motion sickness pills like Dramamine.
- Stroller accessible

- We provide you with masks at no charge. Wet suits are available optionally for an upcharge during the winter time.
- Showers are available on the beach, however there are no changing rooms available.
- Near public transportation
- No license is required to operate a seabob, and you will be provided with a short safety briefing and instruction prior to your tour.
- Clothing is of choice, however a long sleeve shirt is recommended to ride on the seabob to protect from the sun and also from the friction between the seabob and the pilot belt. You should also bring a towel and sandals for the beach and put sunblock on.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Most travelers can participate
- You do not need to know how to swim to participate in this tour. However, you are required to wear a pilot belt which will be attached to the seabob while operating which makes it very safe. The seabob also acts like a life jacket and floats on the surface. While in the water we always have one of our instructors out there with you.
- Seabob operators must be at least 10 years of age with parental consent and supervision.
- No weight limit, but must fit in security harness.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

We had a fantastic time. Guide Chris was excellent and has patience for any age. It was an experience of a lifetime! This is the only place in the US that offers such a ride!

This was extremely cool. It does wear you out. My husband, on the other hand, was a pro at it! He was doing barrels and one handed moves. I did get a little nauseous towards the end. I should have taken some dramamine. Usually I do not have motion sickness. Was fun though. My husband now wants one for our lake house in Michigan. Instructor was amazing.

1. Be sure to reserve your spot through the Viator app.
2. Use a cashback app like Rakuten—percentages vary based on the app and booking time.
3. Pay with a travel rewards credit card to maximize benefits.
4. Expect a waiver to be sent via message the morning of your activity—sign it promptly.
5. Paid parking is available in front of the hotel. Reserve at least 3 hours. Use the “PayByPhone” app or the nearby parking meter.
6. All participants—men and women—must wear waterproof shorts and a T-shirt. The Seabob creates friction against your body, so proper clothing is essential.
7. If you wear water shoes, remove them before the ride to avoid losing them.
8. Avoid applying sunscreen to your face—it can irritate your eyes when wearing diving goggles.
9. They provide diving goggles; test them onshore to ensure they don’t leak.
10. Check that the rope connecting you to the Seabob is long enough. Your arms should be fully extended for proper control.
11. Photos taken during the experience cost $40 and are payable via Venmo only. Credit card payments incur additional fees.
12. To avoid those fees, consider tipping your guide directly instead of paying via card—the machine will prompt you for a tip.

This adventure is a must in Ft Lauderdale. Chris, our guide, made sure we had a blast. He gave us plenty of time for an amazing underwater experience to get as close to the fish in the reefs below as we'll as "zoom time" on the sea bobs. I absolutely loved it!
For me, Chris was also understanding of my situation. I have a mild case of cerebral palsy on my left side and had a tiny setback. Chris was very helpful and made it fun and enjoyable!

I went on a seabob tour with Chris who was awesome! He put me at ease about using the machine and took me pretty far out from shore where we got to see some wildlife and enjoy the beautiful day in the water! He was professional, knowledgeable and kind! The seabob was extremely easy to use and so much fun! I took dramamine before my tour and experienced zero sickness. I would recommend everyone try this at least once!

The experience was amazing for our 2 sons in their 20's. Chris was a great instructor and guide who knew his stuff and did his best to give our sons a great experience! It was very cold that morning, but he was willing to be cold for us--thank you, Chris!! The pictures were also very nice to have. The kids enjoyed it so much and think about it more fondly now that they are warm!

I cancelled my attraction more than 24 hrs in advance and talk to them in person and still got charged for it. I cancelled it because hurricanes were coming. He said he would cancel it but he did not.

This was one of the coolest things I have ever done. Take care to read all the correspondence that you are sent because we were late on accident. The requested arrival time could be earlier than your scheduled time when you are supposed to enter the water. Chris was amazing. He was patient and constantly checking in. He offers to take any pictures or video you want with his underwater camera. They suggest taking a motion sickness pill beforehand and I strongly recommend doing so. Even though I have never had a problem with motion sickness before, the waves were a bit choppy and there is no reprieve once you are out in the middle of the sea. I was not the only one to feel queasy either- including one participant who grew up around boats. If you get ill, you either have to stick it out or the whole tour ends early for all participants. Also, listen to his advice because it can be quite a workout if you are fighting against the machine instead of going with it. (many people in the reviews mention sore arms.) Also we were told that mornings are best for calm seas and the opportunity to see more marine life. Overall, it's worth it and I will do it again if I ever return to the Fort Lauderdale area. Money very well spent.

Absolutely awesome experience Our guide Chris was outstanding person calm, friendly knowledgeable no rush no nerves, absolutely great. Snorkeling on a sea bobs it’s basically give you the best of two worlds you have the ability to dive to good depth easily and see plenty of marine life and at the same time you don’t have the bulkiness of scuba gears Again I would recommend this experience to anyone especially to families with older teens my kids were very happy We had a great time.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience! This was our first attempt at the Seabob snorkeling experience and we had an absolute blast! Our guide, Chris, was amazing! He explained everything to us, kept us informed when boats were around and made it fun. I would recommend that you make sure that your harness is at the right length so that the Seabob does its job and allows your arms to rest. Otherwise your arms will get tired! I’m really looking forward to doing this again! If you are with Chris, you’ll really enjoy it!

Such a great time! Went with a friend. Be prepared as you’ll be slightly sore after from muscles you don’t often use otherwise. We saw a ton of fish, a sea turtle, a conch shell, and more! The water was beautiful and the experience was fun! The tour guide, Chris, was also really great. Highly recommend!
