To start your day, arrive at the waterfront store, Las Olas Paddle Boards. Here, receive all the necessary equipment for your journey and listen to the instructions to get prepared. No prior boating experience is required for this expedition.
Then, board your mini powerboat and get out on the water of Fort Lauderdale. Navigate the waterways, a task made easy by your vessel, and relax as you take in the scenery of luxurious yachts, mansions, and mangrove forests.
As you have the boat to yourself, enjoy the freedom to set your own pace and itinerary, exploring at your leisure.
After your time on the water, return your boat to the dock.

The powerboat experience was a good way to sightsee and people watch. We could go at our own pace. It’s a nice activity to enjoy with a partner or friend. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and knowledgeable. I recommend this activity.

It’s not on the description but you purchase 1 ticket for 2 passengers. You don’t need to buy 2 tickets for you and 2nd person! The experience was fun for an hour (there’s a longer one too) but we got lost on the way back and had to use our phone map to help us get back! They do provide a map to take but it was not helpful coming back. It was helpful starting out though. There’s no directional signs while you’re out on the boat. Can’t go too fast and need to try your best to stay to the right because there are larger boats that will pass you. The scenery is gorgeous! The houses look amazing. Workers were nice and did the boat license for you.

Check motor 1st-as my motor was broken & only worked at half power, so it took twice as long to travel & avoid big waves.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the boat felt underpowered during your rental. Our boats are GPS-tracked and the motor on your rental did reach normal operating speeds, with a top speed of about 20 mph during your trip, indicating it was functioning properly.
The waterways around Las Olas are primarily minimum-wake zones where typical cruising speeds are around 6–7 mph. Based on the route shown on the GPS, it appears you nearly completed our suggested 2-hour tour rather than the 1-hour route, and the boat was returned about 41 minutes after the scheduled ending time. It’s easy to lose track of time while cruising past the yachts and mansions along the waterways.
If a guest ever believes something isn’t working correctly during a rental, we always encourage them to contact our dock staff right away so we can help immediately. We appreciate you visiting Las Olas Paddle Boards and hope you still enjoyed your time on the water.

It was a great way to see the homes and yachts on the Intercoastal. Spencer was very friendly and helpful. The boat is easy to operate. There wasn’t a lot of traffic on the Intercoastal which was nice. You can see lots of beautiful homes and yachts while puttering along.

Got a little wet from wakes from the other boats. We are from MN and it was cool. The staff was nice and the event was good.

Very simple instructions, ease of getting on and off the craft, you will get a little wet, best to do this late morning, early afternoon or the water may make you cold. The instructor was AMAZING!

Tyler and the crew were so friendly and helpful. We had the best time cruising along and admiring all the boats in town. We could have stayed out there all day. Would absolutely do this again.

The mini power boats were so much fun and we saw incredible yachts and houses on the I tercoastal waterway. The staff were friendly and explained the route to take and how the boats worked. We also received a map to show us the route.
