You’ll start your day in the United States, and before you know it, be whisked away to a different country. You can find your boat at Port Everglades or arrange for pickup from your Miami or Miami Beach hotel. It’s an early start, though, so be ready to rise before the sun.
Pass by Miami Beach as you sail to the Bahamas. Bimini Island is your port of call, beckoning you to spend six hours doing whatever you please. Snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing and more are yours to savor. If you want to explore Resorts World Bimini, free transportation will tour you around the resort. As the sun gets ready to set, you’ll hop back on the boat and return to Port Everglades.

Overall, the ferry ride is convenient when wanting to take a day trip to Bimini BUT there needs to be some security available on board. There was a very loud intoxicated group of men onboard with us and after spending 5hrs in the sun and exploring at 7PM noone wanted to hear their arguments & loud conversations. Noone mentions it but it takes 35+ minutes just to debark and thats after docking so that eats into your time at Bimini and you also will have to wait for a shuttle once you’re off the ferry or they tell you to walk. The Bahamian staff at Bimini are extremely rude, they just yell “keep walking” even if you have other family, that you’re trying to wait for to come down the stairs. They weren't welcoming at all. Lastly, once you’re back and debark, be prepared to wait in a LONG line for 30-40 minutes to show passports. Only 1 line for American citizens and another line for non-American citizens. We got back to our Airbnb about 10:30PM. Overall again its convenient to visit the island but experiences will vary.

Upon returning, there appears to have been a very disruptive very loud , aggressive arguments between three intoxicated men that truly made me very uncomfortable and unsafe for not only myself however my family and other travelers as well, At times, I truly believe fearful expected an altercation to occur . There needs to be some sort of security that can handle these situations for safety for other travelers…. On the other hand , the encounter that I had with the crew members was friendly and respectful.

We tried to be proactive in contacting the tour operator the day prior to the tour, no one picked up. We got to the schedule meeting point at 4;45 as requested waited for 40 minutes no one came. We called customer support customer support who was quick to offer refund instead of trying to find a solution. I asked to speak to a supervisor it was that time we were informed we had to take an uber to anther point. At this we already paid an Uber already. When we got on the tour bus the guy who was giving the wrist band, we reached out our hands got him to put them on, he dropped it and continued walking down the bus aisle. When we arrived in the Bahamas there was no clear directions where to go they just said “keep walking” once we got there we had a beautiful time. However the execution was very unprofessional.

Don’t listen Viator. I was told to be at the port at 4:45. I was. It didn’t open until 6:30. I was told there was free transportation, there wasn’t.

Bimini was beautiful. I would book this if you just really want to go to the beach out there. The resort is dead and nothing is open hardly. People sell golfcarts to you so you can drive around the island and thats a must when you go. We ate at Big John's and it was pretty good food. We swam at radio beach and saw the island and its great. But the process of getting there was long and annoying. Long lines and lots of people. Our boat ride back took forever to leave then when we docked we had to wait 2 hours to get off the boat because they didn't have a bridge for us to get off. Then the gate from the parking garage did not work and we got stuck in there an extra 30 minutes. No one answered the help button, no way to get another ticket to pay to leave. We had to just go after someone and speed through. 0/10 for the travel experience, island 10/10. I suggest an overnight so it's not as annoying but in one day i was fed up with the traveling! The customs part took forever. But the food and drinks in the ship were nice too, bathrooms nice and clean. But way too long to travel

Very nice experience. The crew was alert and caring. The window seals need updating badly, they look like they are protruding and exposing the materials used to seal the windows in. But the seats and boat were overall tidy and the Air conditioner definitely works, lol. It’s gotten a bit expensive at $200+ for a day trip unfortunately.

The ferry rocked constant on the water to and from Bimini. Don't expect a cruise like experience where you can't even tell the ship is moving. The boarding was cumbersome but it was due to all the constand checks to ensure that you are allowed to travel out of and back into the country. Other than that, the rest of the trip was wonderful! Beach360 was great! Great food! We rented a Golf Cart and was able to go downtown to the shopping center and buy some small souvenirs.

Customer service and communication was excellent but this trip is a couple hundred more through this company. Booking directly through balearia is cheaper.

They didn’t provide a refund when the website stated that there’s a 24 hour refund policy. It Didn’t provide the items it said it would, for example, breakfast lunch and dinner, etc.

Had a great time on the boat and the island. Well organized. The food and beverage is extremely expensive on both the ferry and on the island. That was the only frustrating part.

Trip was awesome and smooth riding the high speed ! Would have loved to stay but ferry doesn't come back the next day so have to stay 2 nights. Long long day but worth it!

6 -7 hours on the island and 12-14 hours on logistics ( transportation, immigration checks and others ). Started at 6 am and back home around 1.30 am the next day. But the 6 hours time is definitely amazing. The sand and beach is way better than Miami. But if you don’t like long and intensive trip, think again.

I’ve always wanted to visit the Bahamas and this excursion was a great way to do so. The tour was well organised from start to finish. The ferry ride over to the island was well stocked with food and drinks for you to purchase at an additional cost. You can also purchase tickets for island excursions. I would advise purchasing a day pass for the Bimini Resort where you can relax and appreciate what the island has to offer. This tour is a great way to visit the Bahamas and experience paradise.

This package does not include the beach access as advertised. My wife and I found out that it had to be purchased separately on the boat or directly from the resort. Once on the cruise, we went to purchase it and were told that there was a Virgin cruise docked that day. When Virgin is docked, they have exclusives rights to the beach and access can't be purchased. Viator needs to update their trip description and inform customers on dates there is no access to the beach.

The Bimini island is a beautiful paradise, our trip was great, no complaints about that, It's just
2 hours from fortlauderdale to the island, but when we returned to USA the inmigracion was a pain because it was just an officer checking the passports for too many people, we wait MORE than 2 hours in line, Esperamos en inmigración mas tiempo de lo que duró el viaje. Lo demás en la Isla muy bien. Es una pequeña isla que tiene sus encanto de playas.

The ride was rough there and back. I’m sure that’s not the fault of their ferry but it totally ruined the experience for me. If I were to do it again, I would need extra strength motion sickness meds or something. Two days later and I’m still nauseous. Other than that it was a decent day at Bimini. Baleria Caribbean staff were nice and welcoming. The staff at Port Everglades were all rude. At the entry gate rude, at customs, rude! Plus they had us waiting for two hours in a stand still at customs and shrugged their shoulders like it was just a normal occurrence. Again, not the Baleria’s fault but the overall experience was just not so good for me.

Travel time from the hotel to the port was over 5 hours.
We were told transportation would be from the hotel but we had to travel from our hotel to a different one. The Uber ride on the return was 37 minutes. Upon reaching Bimini there was no direction as what to do. We waited in line to ask which beach we were allowed to use for an hour. The hotel people were selling excursions in the hotel checkin line. It was a terrible experience!

This was absolutely horrible!!! I called to make sure this was an excursion we all would be able to participate in for my husband 50th birthday. The representative told me that we would be able to use our birth certificate as proof of citizenship and that was not true. My family and I even received the wrong information about when to arrive. Were there at 4:30 am only to wait in line until 6am where we were turned around. Calling viator was no help again the representative lied about what they would be able to do about my refund. That was 900.00 that i won't be getting back and they ruined my husband's birthday! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE YOU RISK LOSING YOUR MONEY AND WASTING YOUR VACATION

Pick-up expected 05.20am (the bus was 25mn late, Admiral never answered the phone or chat and left us waiting), back home at 04.00am (we skipped the return bus that would have brought us home 45mn later probably).
Many tour groups arrived much later and the boat terminal was empty. On the return you have to wait for the last one of your bus to cross immigration (took us 2hrs, not Admiral's fault but still part of the experience...).
Admiral subcontracts the ferry to balearia caribbean, but as it's part of the trip, it's worth noting that it was 1hr late in the morning, 3hr30mn in the evening, without a 'Sorry' from the boat staff. Business as usual. Passengers waited all this time on the porch of the Hilton without any information (while we could have done something else in the meantime).
The beaches are extraordinary and the price is fair though.
