It was a great experience. We actually caught a golden dusky shark. About 8ft long and 300lbs. The crew was helpful and friendly. It is a memory my son and I will cherish forever. If there is one way to improve maybe find a way to get photos or videos of the catch. More than just personal cell phones.

Normally don mind getting skunked but didnt touch a rod with five people on boat. One guy brought in a wahoo and we were told they get worms so they didn't even cut up the fish to bring home Complete nonsense

My first time doing anything like this, joined my husband for the ride. I am 7 months pregnant so I was afraid I would be uncomfortable but I was very comfortable the entire time and there is a bathroom on board. Overall it was great, he had a good time and I ended up catching something too! We’d do this again 100%. Our captain was great as well.

Captain Will and first mate Logan did a fantastic job of navigating the waters..we caught a 50+ lb Amberjack trophy fish. Had a great time. 4 hours is a bit tight for fishing wise, takes an 40 minutes to get out to sea and 40 back leaving 2 hours to fish. Next time, will get a longer fishing tour time slot. Private charters are recommended. The boat was great for fishing with outriggers etc. We had around 6-8 rods going at same time. We also saw dolphins five feet from the boat and sea turtles. Very cool experience. The boat was big enough that the sea waves didn't get to wavey. Perhaps a Boston whaler in the corporate fleet would also be fun to try but maybe more wavey.

the booking process was "fair" because Fishingheadquarters.com did not let me choose which boat - of 12 - I could go on. And once I went to the ticket counter, the clerk was very rude telling me that he had NO record of my reservation. When I told him that I booked it via TripAdvisor/Viator, he then fold my name and then said "well, why didn't YOU tell me that beforehand". Poor....very poor customer service skills!

What an adventure! I booked this as a surprise for my husband who loves to fish back home in Wisconsin. Captain Ryan and First Mate Chris were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and obviously passionate about what they do. After catching the smaller bait fish, I had the opportunity to reel in a good sized barracuda. It got even more exciting when we spotted two hammerhead sharks, one of which took the bait. 20 exciting minutes of all the guys taking turns to reel him in, but the line broke. It was also relaxing to just sit and watch the ocean and other boats. Highly recommend this charter!!! Highlight of our Fort Lauderdale trip.

Not worth it for 1 fish in 4 hours, I wouldn’t recommend it, your better off going to pier and do your fishing will catch way more
