Your small-group tour of Florence’s iconic Uffizi Galleries begins at a time that works best for you—choose from multiple convenient start times (and language options), and even upgrade to explore with only a private guide for company. You’ll meet at the ticket office just a block from the museum.
Once inside, follow your guide past the crowds and straight to the museum’s highlights, including priceless masterpieces by Botticelli, Da Vinci, and Raphael. As you go, your guide will share stories behind the artworks that you wouldn’t encounter independently. You’ll also discover lesser-known hidden gems in the museum’s galleries.
At the end of your tour, your guide will depart and you can choose to extend the experience and continue exploring independently.

Excellent guide.
I liked that he focused on some key paintings and provided context on how to look at them. Our family group ranged in age from 14 to 83, with different levels of exposure to art. We all enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.
In past times, my husband and I had been to the Uffizi several times without a guide and we tried to see as much as possible, but this, more focused visit was more valuable.

Our guide was awesome, so very knowledgeable and engaged once in the galleries. However, our "small" skip the line tour waited outside in freezing wind/temps for an hour beyond our entry time, with no inquiry or movement by the guide. It was our opinion he could have been more aggressive in securing our time slot and entry. We were very close to abandoning the tour before entering as a result.

This tour was exceptional! Our guide, Anna Maria, was so knowledgeable. My husband had his back go out on this trip and was just recovering. We were so grateful we’d booked the private tour. Anna Maria went at our pace. Her enthusiasm, spunk, knowledge and love of the Uffizi Galleria, and Florence, was contagious! Highly recommend!

Olga had an incredible knowledge of the history of the Medici family and of all the painters. The experience led us to a complete new understanding of each of the paintings and the nuances and history behind each of the works.It was an incredible experience!

They instruct travelers to arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time, yet the tour guide only shows up 5–10 minutes beforehand. The tour itself was not enjoyable—the delivery felt very monotone.

As a family, we loved the tour and found our guide (Olga) to be very well informed, interesting and entertaining. We learnt a lot and enjoyed the experience.
My husband, however, struggled with the fact that the speaker/headphone system was not compatible with his hearing aids and so he was unable to hear what Olga said. This was frustrating because I know that he would have loved to learn all the information about the pictures we saw, as well as the lives of the Medicis and artists. It was sad that the tour was unable to accomodate this issue; this lack of accessibility must surely have come up before?

There were so many visitors in the Uffizi that we could not hear our guide, much less get close to the art. When asked if we could see some specific favorite pieces in much less busy area, she refused. We could not get out of the museum fast enough, which was very disappointing because it is magnificent.

The museum is so crowded that I don’t think it would have been possible to see anything without the guidance of a tour. The guide was very good and extremely knowledgeable about the art. He was passionate about the art in the museum and was skilled in moving the tour along.

While our guide was very sweet and nice and unbelievably knowledgeable, she took an inordinate amount of time on each painting so we didn't get to see 90% of what we expected to see. 20-25 min piece of art was way too long to spend. Crowds of tourists were passing us the entire time we were visiting the gallery. Very disappointed.

Some of the most beautiful art I have ever seen. The guide was not only knowledgeable but very engaging. One suggestion, take your time and plan for it to be a 3-4 hour visit. After the tour, there is so many other paintings and art to see. I highly recommend.
