The tour is a scam. There was no one at the meeting place to pick up the tickets as the meeting time prior to the tour.

We did not get to see what we were told would’ve included with the ticket. The Duomo Complex was closed for renovations and we were only able to see the church which doesn’t have an admission fee. The only thing this ticket provided us with was an admission into a very small museum about crypts.

This is only for tickets fyi and it was a bit chilly. Stairs were a bit steep but doable for a non active person but only made it to the 1st terrace. Very beautiful to see history from the 1300s.

We were 8 minutes after the designated time and they didn't want to let us in. I give a very stern comment and then they did. It was impossible to do the 3 attractions in the order suggested within the designated time anyway.

Bad experience with this 3rd party tour

We were assigned a 3 pm time slot to visit the Duomo on New Year's Eve. That day the cathedral closed to the public at 3 pm, so we couldn't go in - rendering that part of the ticket useless since we were leaving Florence the next day. The tour operator had absolutely no idea the cathedral closed early that day. Attempts to get a partial refund were denied.

But you couldn't be there on time and missed the cathedral entrance. Meanwhile you visited the other two spots included with the ticket. we have already issued you a partial refund for the cathedral despite that it wasn't our fault if you couldn't reach there on time. You can safely forget that. Picking up the pre-ordered ticket was not possible, the specified location simply did not exist. On request, the ticket was then sent via WhatsApp, 8 minutes before entry. Thus no possibility to organize anymore. In front of the described entrance a queue of safely 300 meters, so by chance, skip the line. Those who were queuing there all wanted to do the same. We then abandoned it and did something else. A complaint in this regard was not answered. Never again with Viator.
