The museum was punctual with entry based on the assigned times. We did not have to wait long. We are glad we prepurchased the tickets. They were easy to pick up at the meeting point. The audio guide was limited but informational.

Great experience seeing the David statue. The sculpture is absolutely breathtaking, and seeing it in person is unforgettable. The museum was well organized, and the visit was definitely worth it. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting Florence!

You pay for but don’t receive skip the line tickets.

Do not book this tour. Poorly operated. You need to redeem your tickets at a leather shop. They were shut for lunch when our tickets needed validating. Then we had to run in the heat with the guide two blocks to the Academia. We paid for SKIP THE LINE TICKETS AND HAD TO LINE UP IN THE HEAT!!

Couldn’t get a date with David!

Had ticket issues with this tour. Made zero tours out of two with this company. Could not for the life of me could not get the ticket to me. I don’t recommend this tour group at all. Lost all my money for 2 tours.

Great experience overall; however, the gallery was crowded with rude people especially with young people getting social media content in front of stature of David. The needs to be more crowd control to allow others to enjoy their experience without having people constantly recording themselves on social media.

Exceptional experience. Go early and it’s not crowded. Pay for the guide; only $8 extra. Difficult finding the ticket place. Look for street names on the side of buildings and the number of the business on the lower walls

Overpriced and misleading - no real guides tour

Getting into the museum was easy. We did skip the line, but the “tour” that was advertised was a downloadable tour you could only listen to on your phone and you are not able to listen to it out load in the museum. I guess fine print disclosed this, but the booking verbiage and price was misleading. I thought we were getting a guided tour. Very disappointing and overpriced for what we received.

It was wonderful! Our train was majorly delayed coming in from Rome and we would have missed our original ticket time. They accommodated us and gave is a later ticket appointment! It was much appreciated!

An experience not to miss. Once inside, all works of art are memorable and impressive! I would note that even though you download an electronic voucher, you will still have to meet a tour guide to get you a printed voucher and he helps guide you through. I didn’t know I needed to get a printed copy until I was at the front of the line, luckily the line was not long.

Strange process..but it worked!

We had booked 3 places in Florence. First, we are grateful to Viator to be able to book on short notice. All 3 events were difficult to locate on 2 different cell phones...maybe us...maybe not us as cell service was limited in certain locations. Once found, we were sent to locations to pick up our tickets...that seemed rather strange to be directed to, for example, a door way down the road a minute or two away...but it worked! On all 3 occasions these folks were expecting us, had our tickets, and were extremely warm and friendly. So, it was kinda weird, but worked out fine.

This is extremely misleading. MICHAELANGELO'S DAVID IS NOT IN THIS MUSEUM! IT IS LOCATED IN THE UFFIZI GALLERY. Extremely disappointed to arrive and be told we have to book different tickets

However, we would like to respectfully clarify this misconception for you and future travelers: the original, authentic statue of David by Michelangelo is indeed housed inside the Accademia Gallery, right where your ticket gave you access. There is an outdoor replica located at Piazza della Signoria (in front of Palazzo Vecchio), but there is no statue of David inside the Uffizi Gallery. Uffizi Gallery is Famous for Botticelli and Renaissance paintings, but does not house the David. The Accademia Gallery is world-renowned precisely because it holds Michelangelo’s original masterpiece. We are truly sorry for any confusion that led you to believe otherwise during your visit, but we can assure you that you were in the correct location to see the real David! Best regards,

Easy ticket pick up and entry!

This was a simple entry ticket into the museum, no tour guide provided. Ticket pick up was easy - instructions were very clear. Lady at the counter gave us our tickets, told us what color our line was (red, green or blue). Arrived about 10 minutes before our alotted time and entry was a breeze.

They changed my time

Terrible my tickets were supposed to be picked up at 11:45 . They changed on me to 2:30 but unfortunately I had to be heading back to my meeting point to go back to ship . Need a refund

Do not buy from Viator. We got in line and were told to go to an ATM to find a guy. We barely made our time slot!

We found out at 09.00 when we went to collect our prepaid pre booked tickets from the specified Viator operator that our 10.30 booking had been altered to 12.30 due to a “computer error”. Not impressed! We did manage to arrange earlier tickets and the location / experience was good - shame about the stress involved in getting in.

We missed the opportunity to buy tickets directly from the Accademia Gallery, and we were able to get these in the morning on the day we wanted to visit. We found the tour operator just a bit down the block from the entry lines, were given our tickets, and scanned into the museum with no problems.

Totally worked. Very short wait but you do have to go to a second location to pick up your vouchers and then get led around by your “host” guy who gets you in line and gives you your tickets.

Audio tour problem

We enjoyed the museum very much. Definitely a must do. The only problem we ran into was we paid for a self led audio tour and when we got to the museum, we were told that we hadn’t paid for the audio devices. We actually did pay extra through Viator for the audio tour. It was frustrating.

Poor quality headphones led to not hearing guide

Extremely hard to hear the guide based on the quality of the headset. Nobody in the group could hear well and we had to ask the guide several times to speak louder into her mic.

Do NOT book this event! Our guide started late, told everyone to go to the bathroom after we finally got to the Vatican (go on your own time people-not part of the tour!), she skipped most of the Vatican museums, then took 2 1/2 hours before we even got to the Sistine Chapel! She said we had 10 minutes to look around and then took us to St. Peter’s Basilica, where she promptly LEFT us before taking us inside! Said she had to leave for another tour! I’m requesting a full refund after spending $301 on this! How disappointing when I brought my mom on the biggest trip of her life, only to have this be a total disappointment. Terrible experience! Send me my refund.

No guide but I enjoyed the fast track ticket. It was easy to walk around and enjoy the artwork. I do wish I didn’t have to go pick up the ticket and it was just digitally sent to me, it was a little out of my way to have to go down and pick it up. Good option if you’re limited on time but want to see the famous works.

The purpose of this tour was to fast track the line into the museum for the tickets they offer. It was a bit chaotic finding the guide with the tickets, but once we got the tickets (after waiting) we were able to bypass the line and go into the museum.

Reservation at 10:45. Guide not there. Another tour group said to wait. Called the phone number provided and it was disconnected. Had to wait 30 minutes and keep asking and he finally showed up to hand us a paper ticket when I already bought online.

Your reservation for the Accademia Gallery tour was scheduled for 10:45 AM. As noted in your booking confirmation and reminders, all participants are required to check in at our central office/store 15 minutes prior to the tour start time (at 10:30 AM) to gather the group, rather than going directly to the museum. Our guide was at the designated meeting point at 10:30 AM to check in the guests. Because this is a shared group tour with other participants and strict museum entry timeslots, we must depart on time and were unable to delay the start of the tour. Unfortunately, as you were not at the meeting point during the check-in window, we could not locate you. The representative you met later was our coordinator, who went out of their way to find you and manually hand you your physical entry tickets so you wouldn't miss out on entering the museum entirely. Regarding the phone number, our customer service line is fully operational during operational hours, and we regret if you experienced any connection issues while trying to call. We always emphasize the importance of arriving at our store location ahead of time to avoid these exact situations, and we are sorry that this logistical mix-up impacted your day. Best regards,

The audio guide didn’t work inside the museum, but I was able to listen to it after I left. It’s hard to describe how much more vivid the colors of the paintings are in person versus seeing them in a picture.
