The gathering place was a bit difficult to find and start seemed chaotic. Our guide however made our trip. She was funny, very bright and coped well with the crowded situation. I love that she shared unique information and I learned a number of things which I always love. Our guide was Rosa.
This is an amazing way to see the gallery and the wondrous statue of David. Our guide Gayla was so passionate, enthusiastic and well-versed in all the facts. Such an informative and inspiring tour! Highly recommend!
Wonderful tour. Gyala was great. Very knowledgeable and a great presenter. We all enjoyed the experience.

Good experience Rosa our guide was really good but she was up against it and the Gallery is really busy.

Thankfully our guide Ana was excellent. She had a passion for the subject and really bought the statue of David to life. She made up for a chaos at the meeting point where we were milling around for 15 mins without a clue as to what was going on.

The tour was very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable about the artwork and statues. His English was good but hard to understand with the cheap earphones and receivers used by the tour company. In the hour we heard about three statues and two pieces of artwork, including the David. It was just the right amount of time before exploring the rest of the museum on our own.

The gentleman who was responsible for getting us into the Academia by presenting our tickets seemed somewhat disorganized, which made the beginning of our experience a little confusing.
However, once inside, Gayla was absolutely fantastic. Our tour began with the artwork and then moved into the musical instrument wing, Gayla was incredibly knowledgeable about both. Her expertise was evident throughout, but her passion truly came through when we entered the gallery featuring Michelangelo’s unfinished pieces and “David.”
Gayla spent about 10 minutes explaining the unfinished works in fascinating detail before moving on to “David.” This was where her passion for the art truly came alive. We spent approximately 20 minutes discussing the statue in depth, exploring every detail and learning about its significance. She walked around the statue, explaining what we were seeing from all 360 degrees and pointing out details that we likely would have missed on our own.
What impressed me most was the way she made sure everyone in the group understood and could follow along. She was engaging, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she was sharing.
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Gayla or her tour. She made the experience memorable and gave us a much deeper appreciation for Michelangelo, “David,” and the incredible works housed at the Academia. I would highly recommend her tour to anyone visiting Florence.

We did this tour at 9.55am on Thursday 10 September.
A bit chaotic at first waiting for the guide to start the tour but he was good. The Statue of David is very popular and so lots of people in the Accademia Gallery. The radio they used were not the best but we got the main parts of the information our guide was sharing.

Our tour with Gale was absolutely incredible! She was extremely knowledgeable, not only about Michelangelo’s David, but also about the other fascinating works throughout the gallery. Although the entrance to the Accademia was very crowded and overwhelming, the Travel Tours organizers were very easy to find and were very helpful with collecting the small group and taking us right to the front of the line. Our guide Galya was amazing! Easy to understand and extremely passionate for every piece of art she explained. The David is truly a must see and this tour is highly recommended.

The mic didn’t work,we couldn’t hear the history. We spent too much time just filling space. She had. Hour and we didn’t see much. The only good thing was not waiting in line to enter

Before every tour begins, we ask all participants to confirm that they can hear the guide clearly through their headsets. Our staff remain nearby and visible to assist, and the guide can also resolve any technical issue immediately if informed.
Unfortunately, you did not report any problem with the audio equipment during the tour. Continuing without notifying the guide and only mentioning it afterward in a review gave us no opportunity to replace the device or correct the issue. The tour includes essential historical context to help guests understand Michelangelo, his works, and the Accademia Gallery—it is not simply “filling space.”
We are pleased that you benefited from the priority entrance, but we genuinely wish you had spoken to us during the tour so we could have helped you enjoy the complete experience.

This is an incredible museum. However it was badly organized by Viatior. Purchased tickets in advance but waited in line over an hour then told we had missed the guided tour and we were on our own. They could not handle the crowd. Experience ruined
Ana was so incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the museum. She was easy to hear and interactive with the group.

It is somewhat unclear when you arrive where you should meet. It was a bit chaotic. And there definitely was waiting to get inside. Once inside, however, the tour was first class. Elisa did a beautiful job sharing all the intimate details and history of the art pieces. She was always well spoken and made history come alive.
