Julio was a great tour guide and kept us entertained while waiting in line to enter the Duomo. Very glad we did this affordable option, as we would otherwise not have learned all the interesting facts on the exterior of the cathedral. Julio was very knowledgeable and a true history buff, making the wait worthwhile!

Our Guide was very knowledgeable explaining the sacred geometry of the Douma’s interior and exteriors geometric shapes in reference to the religious images - the floor tiles the outside octagons . Very interesting tour - thank you .

They never showed up. I messaged them on the app and I never got a reply. Much later, there was a message on WhatsApp AFTER the time. I would not choose this company again. Also, the church entry is free anyway

Our host was present at the correct meeting point at the scheduled time and assisted all guests who arrived at the location indicated on the voucher. Unfortunately, our records and staff confirmation show that you did not arrive at the designated meeting point, which prevented us from assisting you in person.
We did attempt to reach you through the available communication channels once the situation was identified. Messages sent after the scheduled time were intended to provide support once contact was established.

Great tour by our guide “Patricia.” We first met with one of her associates to “check in” who then walked us to the front of the line to enter the Duomo. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before entering, as the Duomo did not open until 10AM and we booked a 9:45AM tour.
Advise if you book a later time you probably will have to wait in line as they only have one line for the public to enter and it is free to enter.
Very happy we decided to book this tour as we gained a lot more insight and knowledge into the construction, the paintings, and the people behind the Duomo.
“Patricia” even started the tour while in line, explaining the details of the decoration of the church and how the people of Florence paid for it. Explained the names on the steps leading to the Duomo, all the different statues on the Duomo, and even pointed out a really cool family crest of the Medici family across from the Duomo. “Patricia” also did a great job explaining the Baptistry building and why it’s important to the Duomo.
This tour is a bigger size group but “Patricia” did an amazing job keeping us together, and keeping our attention. She did a marvelous job explaining the paintings inside, including pointing out some cool facts about the painting in the Dome and the Dome itself. She did a great job going into the history of the statues inside and the role Michelangelo played in the Duomo.
The tour was also approximately 30 minutes and didn’t feel rushed or too long, very good length.
We had a great time and would take another tour with “Patricia” any day!

Do the skip the line tour not this one. The tour guide was informative but this tour involved an hour of talking on audio while waiting in the normal line. Once in the church the tour was quickly over. The hour tour was 50 mins in line and 10 mins in church. Also, the tour started super late which caused us to be late for our next event.

There was no reserved entry. We never even made it into the Cathedral because the line was so long and we did not want to spend most of the morning waiting in line when we had limited time in Florence.

Not a skip the line type of event , but line and visit totaled an hour and ten minutes and guide provided history during time the line moved forward so wait wasn’t that bad, other than that, I encourage you to make stop at bagno/toilette/ bathroom/ WC before getting in line

Listed as “Reserved Entry” and purchased with a timestamp included for entry. Our time was “2:00”. Directions to pick up “ticket” were difficult. We arrived early at 1:30, expecting to enter at 2:00. Rep arrived at 2, passed out audio guides until 2:20 and then a tour guide showed up to place us in the “free” wait line behind hundreds of others. This was misrepresented. By 3:00 and with no entry, several of us left the line. Felt as if we had thrown money away. Filed two complaints with no response from Viator.

The tour i paid for and was given a ticket voucher for was not available on Saturday, but was sold to me for Saturday. No one from Viator's tour operator, eu tours showed up at the meeting spot. So basically we are out the money paid, the time spent traveling to the cathedral and if course, we're unable to book something else instead.

I was very disappointed. I was told on the phone it was an Express Tour. She took us to the END of the Dumo Cathedral line.
We stood in the “pouring down rain”, thunder & lighting w/ umbrellas in our hands. I was completely soaked. Supposedly the church closed for 5 minutes, that was a joke…more like 15 minutes. I was soaked to the bone & cold! We didn’t get in the church until 3:15pm
I arrived at the new meeting place Lindt chocolates. Tour guide showed up at 2pm.

I paid thinking it was a short cut to go in the Cathedral but the entrance is free and I'll wait 1h to go inside !
The only good things was the resume by audio but 10€ to just have the audio is a bit expensive

It’s not tickets for the church. You just stand at the regular line, which is free entrance, for a long time. The guide was nice, but it felt like a scam.

Interesting but strange experience where the tour was in 4 languages but mostly English. The tour guide spoke English, French, Italian, and German. He would explain in the other languages when requested. I think travelers who needed an audio guide in another language had to download the guide ahead of time on an app whereas English speakers just listened to the live guide.
The guide seemed to really enjoy his job and tried to make the experience as good as possible for everyone, even while knowing not everyone was getting the same experience.
We also booked a time slot but it seems the tour company just adds people to your group if the rest of the group is still waiting in line. So while we thought we were early, we felt late as we were added to the group already in line. Not a problem because the tour hadn’t really started yet but a few others were added later who would have missed the very beginning where the tour guide is giving information about the exterior of the cathedral.
Very informative tour and worth the money for sure. We were too late to book the duomo climb but this was a good backup plan.

I misunderstood what the tour was. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. I thought that since we were paying for this reserved tour (entry is free) that we would skip the very very long line. But we waited in the long line.

Reasonable early morning start for our tour as we were in the queue before opening time of the Duomo
Our guide Patricia was extremely knowledgeable and made the visit so much more interesting with all her facts and figures about the Duomo and Florentine history and the Medici family.
Considering i only booked the tour the previous night all went to plan the following morning.
