App doesn’t work, no one available to assist. It was a waste of money. The App only provides a recording about certain points of interest, not helpful at all.

We can see that you successfully redeemed your voucher code and downloaded the audio tour in our app just a few minutes after purchasing the tour. Did you have trouble with the audio setup to the car stereo? Our app can’t control this audio connection, but the easiest way to listen through the car’s speakers is to connect by Bluetooth - or turn off Bluetooth and the audio will play automatically from your phone’s speaker as you drive through each audio point. Unfortunately you phoned our support team after hours, but we left a voicemail for you the next morning and we’re available everyday from 9am to 6pm EST if you need any further help. Please give us a call back (or contact us by email or online chat) so that we can assist you with the audio setup or help you with a replacement tour or a refund.

This was the first time trying a self guided tour. It was a great way to see all the sites of Sedona at our own pace without all the complicated coordination and time consuming planning. It was easy to follow, highlighted some incredible stops, and provided fun facts and history of the area. The gps accurately located our vehicle wherever we were and provided excellent directions, offered timely suggestions for breaks, food, shopping and more. This self guided tour is a wonderful, inexpensive alternative for anyone who doesn’t like the expense and waiting around for others associated with larger group tours.

Follow the instructions for proper downloading onto your smartphone, and you'll have no problems.
Narrator provides good background on the sites you are driving to, along with history of the area.

You can just Google the directions to Sedona and it’s free. Not any additional information on the guided tour as far as any of the history of the Red Rocks or the names of the formations..

If you have limited time or don't want to spend for a guided tour, this was perfect! I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of the location tracking, with turn by turn directions, as well as the historical and factual narration that was provided. This was great.

We loved that we could go at our own pace. The narrator was informative and entertaining. There were things we saw that I didn't know existed. The GPS tracker was great and the directions were so easy to use. We plan on downloading it from this company in the future.

We were skeptical about how well this tour would work, but we were willing to take a chance for $17. Turned out to be the best tour! The commentator was informative and humorous. We learned a lot about Sedona. The app came in handy multiple days for us as we stayed in Sedona. We were able to take our time and enjoy each stop as much or little as we wanted. Absolutely loved it! We highly recommend!!!!

By default, the commentary plays through the phone speaker, and if you want to listen through the car stereo, you’ll need to pair your phone for both calls and media successfully. This was included in the instructions so that it might have been missed. Our support team is always here to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Once the tour is loaded and tied to the navigation through appropriate pairing, it was great to have the guide pipe up at just the right times during travel, regardless of direction on the path. I was a bit skeptical about this audio tour, but took a chance since it was not very expensive. It was a good decision — as soon as we drove into the tour area, the audio began. I would compare it to having a local person who has lived in the area for a long time sitting beside you as you drive. You are presented with options on where to stop, which places offer the best views combined with a little background and history. Having the audio tour added tremendously to our enjoyment of seeing Sedona.

It took 4 hours (and customer service) to download the tour. Once we arrived in Sedona, we turned on the tour. from that point, we had about 10 minutes of audio. We stopped for water. No more audio after that. Just useless screenshots and static data. Now we get emails asking us to re-book ???

Our toll free support (GuideAlong) would have been happy to assist, but never heard from you. Reach out to us per contact information in the GuideAlong app or our website so we can follow up. We do not have a subscription model, so I think you are confusing Viator and not us (the supplier) for assistance.

The tour was easy to use and great for our long weekend in Sedona. Downside is directions we’re sometimes a little sketch at specific locations and it ’s not interactive enough to ask questions

Excellent audio guide for driving through Sedona; hours of interesting facts & navigational suggestions, effortlessly powered by GPS signal. We played the audio via Apple CarPlay through an iPhone and the guide automatically lowered the volume of—while not completely muting—our Spotify playlist. Well-priced for the content but you will miss out on a chunk of content if you don’t start or end in Flagstaff.
