Fantastic Tour. Our tour guide John was incredibly knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and personable. We were able to stop at many points of interest and experience the magnificent views. John explained the various rock formations and the Mineral Composition in the rocks. We highly recommend the VIATOR tour company and be sure to ask for John.

Jake was a terrific guide. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Grand Canyon and the local environment. Every place he took us to had an amazing view and Jake provided a great commentary as well as a few great stories. Best way to see the Grand Canyon!

This was an excellent way to experience the Grand Canyon without the hassle of driving! Jake was an amazing tour guide. He knew so much about everything we saw, and had handouts identifying animals, birds, and rocks that we might see (and how those rocks were formed). We made 6 stops at various scenic spots and he had the history of each place, showing us where to look for the highlights. It was a wonderful day! Ask for Jake if you’re taking this tour!

John is knowledgeable, devoted to the environment, and devoted to protecting his passengers, however when the entry to the park delayed us, he chose to eliminate shopping time rather than trimming his rock talk. We understood that certain elements were expected, but it would be good to allow your guides to have more flexibility to “read the room” as to what might work best for individual groups. He did a great job at choosing out lunch option as the restaurant offered many options and was tasty and efficient. A better microphone needs to be available in the van so that everyone can hear well.

From the several tourist points of the Grand Canyon National Park, you only get to view 10% of the Canyon. And even still the beauty changes from one moment to the next based on the time of day, the position of the sun, and as clouds pass. Our tour guide, John, proved to be extremely knowledgeable of the history and geology of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed his humor and how he continually put the size of the canyon into perspective. Using one point of reference (The Watch Tower) he would explain how far away that point was from our current viewpoint. As we drew closer to that point, it went from a tiny smudge to a 5-story structure. We quickly realized just how LARGE the canyon was.
John's knowledge of the history of the Grand Canyon was quickly seen at every point we visited. His eagerness to show off this wonder of the world excited us at every stop. He was very passionate during his presentations of every point we visited.
With John's knowledge in the canyon's history and its geology, and the sheer beauty of the colors you witness in the layers of history before you, the Grand Canyon is a MUST experience. We were lucky to have had John as our guide. We would recommend one or two days with a guide, then return to soak it all up for another day or two.
I feel it important to note, that when visiting the Grand Canyon. there will be walking. If you're not use to being at an altitude above 6000 feet, remember to take it slow and have plenty of water with you. John made sure he had water, gatorade, and some light snacks on hand. We would definitely do it all again if we had John with us as a guide.

John did an amazing job allowing us each to fully appreciate the beauty of The Grand Canyon. He is extremely knowledgeable, witty, considerate, a very safe driver, and punctual. We never felt rushed but got to each of the main lookout points and stayed within the predicted timeframe. I would highly recommend seeing The Grand Canyon in this manner and know you are leaving with beautiful pictures and core memories made.

John is very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the Grand Canyon. He did a great job of explaining everything. He took us to all of the lookout areas with great views.
My only suggestion would be to add a mic for the driver and a speaker in the back of the van. We sat in the last row of a 9-passenger van and sometimes it was hard to hear John because of the road/tire noise.

We only had 1 day at the canyon and wanted to maximise our experience so decided to book a tour, we visited more sites with Keaton than we would have by ourselves. Keaton was very passionate and knowledgeable about the canyon, we certainly learnt way more about the Canyon, the geology, and environment surrounding it, really enjoyed it

Keaton our tour guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the Canon and its ecosystem and environment. Great way to see the Canon. We made many stops and had lunch at the deli which was very good too.

Moderate exercise with walking and getting in and out of van. James, the driver most in formative and courteous. Thought I signed up for train ride but this was all inclusive, including lunch. Train ride was just the ride to the park. Highly recommended.

This is definitely worth the price of admission. Cody was a fabulous guide, extremely knowledgeable about such a wide range of topics. That is what made this tour so fantastic. The Canyon speaks for itself, but it was great to learn about the geology, botany, biology, history, culture, even early film/photography that took place in and around the Canyon throughout the ages. I'm definitely glad I didn't just try to go from vista to vista on my own; Cody made it so much more enjoyable for me and my mother. Highly recommend.

It was all memorable, but I especially liked the human interest stories in developing the park. My husband loved the geology information, our guide provided. Our guide Keaton, gave us a wonderful informative, fun day, with of course the WOW views!

The tour was beyond my expectations. My tour guide, Cody from Canyon Dave Tours was very knowledgeable and he was really engaging. I appreciated that he really put a lot of thought into the experience making it more memorable. I certainly know more about the various types of rocks now than before. My husband and I ended up being the only two on the Grand Canyon tour due to possible weather. It was lovely to have a private tour. Due to the weather, some views were temporarily no good. Keaton took us to alternate locations to show us the beauty around us and then took us back to all the original sites once the clouds and fog cleared up. He knows his stuff and we felt like we got the royal treatment. Worth every penny. Could not have been any better, truly

Our guide, Tim, was fantastic -- friendly, cheerful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region and the history of the Grand Canyon. He answered all of my sons' questions and the day trip was carefree for me and amazing! I didn't have to drive or figure out where to go--Tim took care of us from start to finish.

Mr. Cody was soooo great! What a knowledgeable, engaging, friendly guide. The drive from Williams was about 50 mins., but seemed to go by quickly with Cody explaining about the day ahead, history of area, etc. My teens really enjoyed the wildlife sightings, like Bighorn Sheep, a juvenile California Condor, and lots of Elk herds.
