We had so much fun, both on and off the river. When I originally booked it was to simply see some of the wilderness of Alaska. Instead, we had what I can only describe as the most interesting survival and nature "Ted" talks with Ash and Emma! They were able to even captivate 3 kids ranging in age.(5, 8, and 9) it was so much more that we expected and far better than anything we could have hoped for. Def would recommend for anyone!

This was an incredible experience. You are in a much more remote area than any other tour operator in the area, and Ash, our guide, was a true Alaskan survivalist. He had amazing stories, and went above and beyond to make our experience fun and unique.

Had an amazing time on the river and exploring with Ash! We learned a lot , walked on a beaver damn and saw a grizzly bear print- so cool!

One of the best experiences ever. Ash was fun, entertaining, INFORMATIVE, and so knowledgeable about everything Alaska. Could not have asked for a better guide.

My wife and I went on this raft trip down the Chena River. It turned out that we were the only ones signed up for the afternoon trip so we had a raft and guide (Emma) all to ourselves. The section of river that we rafted is very calm, with the only white water being what Emma called a class 0.5 rapid near the put-in spot. Emma said that they often see moose, and that the day before, they even saw a black bear on the bank, but that was very unusual. We stopped and got out to explore a sandbar about halfway through the trip, where Emma pointed out some moose tracks and scat. We didn't spot any wildlife except a bald eagle near the end, but that was pretty cool. Near the take-out point, there is a Beaver dam, and Emma took us up close to that. Emma was a great tour guide; very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and she gave us lots of good information along the way.

We rafted in a rural area and had another raft of fishermen who were with our group. Ash, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had many interesting stories about living in a rural area with native Alaskans. He showed us how to build a fire when we stopped along the river for a short hike. We also saw some wildlife and their habitat.

Ash was the most informative guide we have ever been with. He shared so many experiences of his with us. Stopped to take pictures whenever we asked as well as sending us ones he took. First rate experience

we had a wonderful time with ash on the river rafting tour where we learned about the history of alaska, river rafted through a beautiful scenic morning, built a fire along the shore, and heard about ash’s incredible life experiences. it was one of the biggest highlights of our trip and would absolutely recommend for anyone!

This tour was amazing!!! Definitely a must-do/must-see excursion. Our tour guide, Benny, was so knowledgeable and made the trip so exciting and fun! He went out of the way to take pictures of our tour, show us how to differentiate animal tracks, and scout for wildlife. We saw moose, ducks, fish, and more! The team went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and got to enjoy the Alaskan nature. Truly a great experience 10/10!

Had a great time., the river raft was such a relaxing experience. Our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable about all the plants, animals and routes. They were also very punctual and flexible. We will definitely be doing this again soon!

Very relaxing trip. We saw six moose. Our tour guide Larry was very knowledgeable and friendly. The mosquitoes were the real deal but we were prepared and it got better once we were on the river.

Very disappointing. Tour guide showed up with raft to small asking the guests if we should get a bigger one( after confirming by text message the day before how big the party was). The male guests has to switch out the rafts.we get on our way when my husband pointed out that the van was on EMPTY, so now we had to stop for fuel. Then we stopped and had to get changed into the provided clothing which was wet and way oversized. It was 2.5 hours by the time we lowered the raft in the water. The time in the water was just over 1 hour. The guests had to load the raft and when we returned back to town it was 9 pm( drive back with construction was 1 hour). Very Very disappointing and NOT worth the money you pay for this .NOT recommended. I don't want to give it even 1 star but it wouldn't post without it.

The guide was full of interesting anecdotes. Saw many bald eagles, ducks, and other birds "up close and personal". Disembarking was wet. Waders and wet shoes were provided. Not suitable for small children.

The river rafting part was vey nice. What made the trip a five star was Caleb our guide. He was very knowledgeable and he was a superior people person. It was a good day.

The river floating was peaceful! Beautiful scenery. Would have loved to hear more about the life and life along the river.

Our guide Zak was great, very good information, very kind, a lot of help! Really enjoyed the view all the way down the river and very relaxing !! Did not like the pick up area, needs a place to sit to remove boots and wait for van.
