Departure Point: Mobile Sports Banana boat LLC is located down the hill in a kiosk at 316 Harbor Blvd. Please check in there. Parking is at 314 Harbor Blvd. Follow instructions on the sign in the parking lot to pay for parking. (We are not in the Happys Watersports trailer)

The banana boat ride was pure joy from start to finish! Fast, bumpy, and filled with laughter—we were holding on for dear life and loving every second. It’s the perfect mix of thrill and comedy, especially when you all go flying into the water!
The guides kept it safe but made sure we had a wild ride. Great for friends, families, or anyone ready to scream and splash.

The captain was super and assistant were super personable. The problem was that he threw us off the banana boat several times. He did tell us that we would eventually end up in the water but I went in three times! He flipped the whole banana boat the last time so that everyone fell off. With everyone on the water, we all bumped into each other and two people in my party left injured. We also had three kids in our party and although they could all swim, dumping them in 20-30 ft. of water was worrisome.

We paid to park and found out that the boat was broken down and we had to reschedule. We then had to cancel due to the rescheduling didn't work for us. We were fully charged even though we cancelled. I had to call and they would not help me. Just kept putting me on hold and eventually saying they would email me. I haven't heard from them since. Very disappointing.

We are very sorry the boat had an unexpected repair right before your trip. That is out of our control. When you book third party, we have to email Trip Advisor to issue the refund. It can take 3 to 5 business days to get the refund. If you have not received it, then I recommend contacting Trip Advisor. They will be the ones to issue the refund back. Once again we are sorry we had an unexpected repair and was not able to run the trip. We hope you make plans to book with us on the future.

My friend's and I did this as an activity while in Destin and we had an AMAZING time. First, I would love to thank Ashley for being patient with us and accommodating us as we were 1 hour late for the activity due to having a nail in our tire. I also want to thank Maguire and Trent for being patient with us, reviewing the procedures with us, and guiding us through the entire process. The beautiful water, sighting a dolphin, and the thrill of riding on the water made this activity memorable. Ashely, Trent, and Maguire, thanks for providing this experience, including the excellent customer service. We do plan on returning to the area and will do this activity again.

My sister and I had a blast riding the banana boat. The captains were super friendly and easygoing, and they were accommodating when our party ended up smaller than originally planned at the last minute. The boat itself was quite a thrill ride! Had a lot of fun hanging on for dear life. There are convenient hand signals to use to signal your speed preference to the captain (faster, slower, good as is), the only drawback being of course it's a little hard to let go and signal when you're hanging on for dear life at higher speeds haha. The boat was pretty good though about testing certain speeds and adjusting as we signaled. We also saw a whole pod of wild dolphins! The captain even slowed down and pulled over to give us a closer look, and sitting right there on a banana in the ocean we had an even better view than the nearby dolphin-watching boat haha. It is a thrill ride and the only thing between you and falling off into the ocean is a handle, and the banana can also go up and down a lot on the waves generated from the main boat, so I don't recommend this for those who are less physically able or afraid of being dragged around at high speeds over unshallow water. Overall though we had a super fun time and would definitely do this again!

We went with a family of four not knowing what exactly to expect out of banana tour experience. Our son just grad H S and we want to do something memorable as a family. We are normally very calm and melo people, this experience was so fun it left us from worry to curious from oh no to please increase the speed. The whole experience was less than an hour we wish it could be longer. The captain and guide person were very relax and knowledge of their job and the island. We were so pleased we wish we have more time to go another round. We will definitely do this attractions again the next time we are in Destin.

This was a total blast for my kids (ages 7 and 11). I rode with them for awhile but as an out of shape mom, it was pretty hard to hang on! After I fell off a few times, I rode in the boat and the kids could go tons faster. They laughed and laughed even when they fell off. Best part of our Destin trip.

Getting on the boat to go out for the ride was the first of the excitement. Then, actually getting on the banana boat and going for the ride was absolutely thrilling. We were able to hold on, for the most part. I’m sure my children will remember this forever! Ages 18, 16 and 11. The captain and deck hand were very friendly and very careful.
