We were lucky enough to have the pleasure of having Terry as our driver. He gave us detailed instructions where he would pick us up which was very helpful with such a huge airport! He was super friendly right from the get-go, made us feel very comfortable and welcomed, and had a great conversation with us. We came to Chicago for my birthday and he definitely made the trip have the best start! And he had the coolest GPS! We loved how unique and genuine he was. Thank you for everything Terry!

Poor Driver

We were met at the airport in a timely manner. On the way to the hotel the driver was constantly playing with his phone even though we were going thru rush hour traffic in Chicago. He dropped us at the hotel, but it turned out to be the WRONG hotel. There are 2 Embassy Suites in Chicago. I had given the address when I signed up for the ride. At the end of a long travel day, the last thing you want to have to do is find a ride to the correct hotel. I will not use your services again.

Due to snow and delay, they could not sent us a driver out after the snow fell. Had to find a ride to our hotel after contacting three different times and being placed on hold. Refund pending.

45 mn late. Not the end of the world but we could have just used a cab waiting at the airport. The driver was nice- sweet but the reason we prepay and plan ahead should be accommodating to the traveler- if a previous ride was running late, the company should have sent a different car/driver to be on time.

OUR driver (Jason, I think) contacted me immediately upon booking. The day of arrival he was exactly where he said he’d be at exactly the time he said he would be there. His car was immaculate and very comfortable (Tesla). I’m hoping we get the same driver on the return to MDW.

My flight from Seattle was delayed by 2 hours. There was no car waiting for me and no message from Biator. I tried to call but didn't get a response. Finally gave up and got a cab. So I paid $150 to get from O'Hara to the Swiss hotel. I ordered the service because I recently broke my hip and my mobility is limited. It seems likely that you would have checked to see what time my flight was arriving.

I had expected a Suburban or Town Car, instead someone who drives for Lyft showed up. I could have saved $50 on my trip. Plus, I waited a good 45 minutes, that’s after I picked my bags up from the carrousel. Not what I was expecting. I have had car service from the airport in both New York and Fort Lauderdale, this was not what I expected. Not happy and I hope you post this so others know that an Uber or Lyft will be picking them up. Bad on you Viator.

Very bad experience - passengers stranded

Re: Itinerary # 1268122934 Back in April, I booked this private hire for my parents who flew yesterday from Dublin to ORD. When I made and paid for the booking, I was assured that, if the flight was delayed, the driver would wait to pick them up, and that my parents could access and amend the account to reflect that they and not I were the travelers, which my mother did soon after the booking was made. Their flight into ORD was delayed in arriving, such that they were not at the Terminal 5 exit until 3:30 pm (the pick-up time had been for 3:00 pm.) Despite the fact that four people (including one who was very knowledgeable about the layout and pick-up areas in the terminal) searched for the driver, they could not find him. Furthermore, if he was still in the terminal, he was not carrying any signage declaring who he was waiting for, which would have been helpful. On the other hand, the driver started sending me texts from 2:30 on. But since I was not traveling and was in fact at home in central WI at the time, his texts to me were to no avail. Unfortunately, my mother does not possess a cell phone that works in the U.S. and was not receiving internet in the terminal, so I could not reach her, either. James the driver did try to email my parents, but they didn’t receive the email till after they had arrived at their hotel and got internet. This is the email James sent them yesterday: -Hello Robert Miller This is James from Elifelimo I will pick you up at 2022-07-22 15:00 PM at ORD airport Please confirm when you receive this message Thank you very much- As I mentioned, they didn’t receive it until they had arrived at the hotel, for which they had to spend almost $100 to get to in a taxi they had to hail from the airport after realizing that James had evidently left. Viator has to do a better job of connecting with incoming international travelers, understanding that, especially at this time, flights may be delayed and that not all international travelers are immediately set up for receiving texts. Furthermore, James left without picking up his passengers, and my stranded parents said they received little help from the Viator office which they called from the airport. They are also almost $100 out of pocket for the taxi they had to take to the hotel. And I am asking Viator for a complete refund of the booking I paid for, since the hire did not pick them up, and since I was assured that the driver would wait for a delayed flight when I booked up. Do not waste your money on this service. After getting email and text confirmations, received a “can’t pick you up text” from our driver after we landed even though we paid a surcharge for a larger vehicle. Got rerouted and hung up on while trying to get another driver. Terrible.

Car quality and type not as expected

You have black Cars pictured everywhere and the consumer believes he is going to get a Black car......that's the way your marketing is designed. I recived an older model not well maintained small SUV and the driver was a Lyft driver. I could have easily called Uber and Paid $45 instead of $97. I used your service in Europe and was very happy. Never again in the US

Waleed our driver was great! There was 11 of us that traveled to Chicago. Our flight was late and it took a while to get our luggage. He kept checking on us while we were trying to get our luggage and he loaded everyone up as we came out of the airport. I used this company when I traveled to Las Vegas and the experience was great there also.

Driver was very super nice, but late. Also, I paid less for a ride back to the airport and it was a black SUV. This was a mini van with seats that didn’t move great and had seat covers. Just not the same experience.

It was HORRIBLE….please see pictures! The company sent a very unfriendly man who was dressed like he just got out of bed. His personal MINIVAN reaped with cigarette smoke. The minivan was FILTHY to say the lease! I’m requesting a refund and will fight to the end to get it!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Oh, trying to call and /or talk to the company is almost impossible. A BIG waste of $90!!
