This tour did not take place. I recieved zero notice of the cancelation. Highly unprofessional communication. I have used Viator many times, and this is the first time this has occurred.

Walking Architectural tour

Dawn_S, Jul 2025
This tour is led by a volunteer with the Chicago Architectural Center. He was very good! It involved a lot of walking but was well worth it. We also did the Architectural tour by river boat at night. It was amazing!

Interesting tour of historic buildings

james_b, Jul 2025
Marcia was our tour guild she was knowledgable. The tour was conducted at a relaxing pace with enough time to get a good look at each building. It was a good way to get cursory introduction to varied architectural styles present in the loop.

Great tour for a quick overview and highlights of chicago loop and downtown area. Having a mic and headphones was a great touch and made it so much easier to follow the guide

Highly recommended architecural tour of Chicago

Neil_T, Jun 2025
Joan was a fabulous guide. She clearly loves Chicago and knows the history of the individual buildings in detail, as well as the architectural style used. She was a really interesting and engaged speaker and happily took our questions (and I ask a lot of questions!).

A winter walk downtown Chicago.

JoAnn_M, Feb 2025
We drove to Chicago from Indiana and found parking to be a bit of challenge. Allow some extra time. The location to pick up your tickets was easily accessible and staff very helpful. The younger ones in our group appreciated Mellinium park and the "bean" sculpture. It was great having buildings pointed out that were otherwise overlooked. Our guide was knowledgeable, personal and showed us a couple of hidden gems. We would do it again!

I met my tour guide, Rich, at the meeting point and the tour began promptly. Rich was a fantastic tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great history facts about the buildings and sites. Unfortunately, the bean was closed for construction, but I would love to revisit!
