A little silly and a lot of fun .... Our guide Robin kept us entertained and engaged pointing out the history of the area and the history of the (replica) DUK military vehicle we were riding in. The grand finale was a drive down a ramp splashing into the Charles River where passengers (children first) got a change to "drive" the boat.

Great quick tour to see major sites and learn some history ………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

This was a super fun and pretty way to see the city. The guide had a great personality and lots of city knowledge. He also gave the kids on board a chance to steer the boat (and even some bigger kids like my hubby…). I def recommend for first timers to Boston.

Our guide was incredibly energetic and kept us entertained the entire tour while sharing so many interesting facts about Boston. She even pretended to be a roller derby version of Susan B. Anthony, which had everyone laughing! She had the whole group quacking whenever things were going well, and it made the experience especially fun for our family.
The tour was educational without ever feeling boring—we learned a lot while being entertained from start to finish. Going into the Charles River was definitely a highlight. We had been a little nervous because of the recent accident, but we felt completely safe the entire time. As an added bonus, we even got to sit in the driver’s seat during the water portion for some great photos.
I would highly recommend this tour for any family visiting Boston. It’s the perfect way to kick off your trip, get oriented to the city, and see so many of the major sights. I wouldn’t want to miss it!

Until ur moving, it's hot. The vehicle is WWII so it's noisy & clunky, but theres so much to c! We enjoyed it so much! The water is great & pictures r limited, as u cant stand & move around. DEF worth the money! Bring tip money.

Trip was cancelled due to thunder would have been better to be able to get my refund from them and not have to wait to go through this website

We really enjoyed the tour we were on. We learned a lot about the city of Boston and its history. I was sad to read about the accident a couple days later that our vehicle, Molly Mollass was in. I hope this does not stop Boston from continuing the duck tours.

having a map with a key while taking the tour would be helpful. There is a ton of great info shared by the guide of the area's traversed but it's easy to get turned around and loose track of what you heard and where you are (even for someone who's been through dozens of Xs).
Driver and guide were personable, knowledgeable and accommodating otherwise. Excellent

Tour guide was amazing, it was a fun experience and a great way to get a little tour of Boston. Disco ball helmet is the best guide!

This tour is a great way to see the city of Boston and learn about its rich history. The views are amazing and can only be experienced from the vantage point that this tour provides.

If you are a first-time visitor, traveling with kids, or hosting out-of-town guests, it is absolutely worth doing at least once. It strikes the perfect balance between an informative history lesson and a lighthearted, quirky adventure. Just prepare yourself to do a lot of mandatory quacking at people on the sidewalk!
Ester_S, Jun 2026
Great way to reconnect with Boston history and landmarks even for long time residents we accompanied a visiting relative with mobility issues so this way to tour was perfect!
Cathy_W, Jun 2026
Prepare to quack! My granddaughter got to drive the boat for a few minutes. She thought it was corny until a few others did it. We had a blast!
Mary_V, Jun 2026
Really great guide made the experience. We were fortunate to have great weather and minimal traffic.
Mary_S, Jun 2026
Very enjoyable! I learned things about history that I didn’t know! I got to drive the Duck! Loved every minute!

Duck tour was interactive and informative. The land and sea travel was fun. I would totally recommend doing this to get an overview about Boston.
Rebecca_P, Jun 2026
We had hoped to learn a lot of history about Boston and thus had been recommended by friends and relatives who live in Boston.
Our guide was more interested in being an entertainer and engaging with several vocal families who wanted restaurant recommendations
We were with 7 family members and were all disappointed.

Our guide, Mike, was friendly, funny, and very informative. Very fun, quick tour, that we very much recommend.
Krista_M, Jun 2026

Monica_C, Jun 2026
This was an overview of major sites. Enjoyed the ride in the duck boat. The tour guide was sometimes difficult to hear over the sound of the vehicle but otherwise, the presentation was nice. The tour guide distinguished fact from legend which was appreciated.
CatrionaLexy_C, Jun 2026
Really fun, entertaining tour with lots of interesting information. Our guide, Ripple, was very funny and made the trip fly by. Would definitely recommend for a unique way to sightsee!

We are Texans in Boston on a Duck Boat Tour full of Scots and Norwegians stopping to see a humungous crowd of Moroccans. #WorldCup2026 Our tour guide was a librarian she had such interesting facts, she played electric guitar and had a fantastic sense of humor.
Katie_S, Jun 2026
We boarded the duck down by the aquarium, and immediately our captain started educating us and cracking jokes. It was a great time. They drove very safely and we saw lots of sites and then we got to plunge into the Charles River.
They even allowed us to take photos of our kids pretending to drive would highly recommend for somebody that wants a tour and also a little fun experience in having a vehicle in the water
Fenny_C, Jun 2026
The Boston Duck Tour was one of the highlights of the things we do in Boston. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, history, and entertainment. Our guide Billy was knowledgeable, funny, and full of interesting stories that brought the city’s rich history to life. Highly recommend!
Darla_D, Jun 2026
Our tour guide was very informative and funny. The information on the tour was interesting. We loved the land to water part.
Elizabeth_C, Jun 2026
Long hour for small children under 6 but the water part revived them. Our guide kept up a nice comedic patter to entertain non-history buffs.
