Extremely overpriced. Not much to see in
Boston in general. Very slow and boring. Would be worth it if it was cheaper

This was an awesome experience and well worth the cost. Very informative and entertaining. I boarded at the aquarium. And when it was over, I was right there to enjoy that also. It was very convenient

I had the most amazing time with Boston Duck Tours. I’ll never forget my tour guide Bruising B Anthony. She was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. I also enjoyed getting to drive the duck.

This was a fun experience. The staff were great, despite us not being the most responsive audience (!) the tour guide was great.

We just made it to the last tour, which is at 6:30 pm in the summer. I have a feeling that either a co-owner or somebody that had a lot of seniority in the company was giving us the tour. It was phenomenal. I forget his name, but he is Irish and has an Italian wife, and the jokes were just out of this world and clean. Now remember this is 6:30 PM last tour of the day, and this guy didn’t rush it; rather, he gave us an extra hour almost of Boston. Every side street, every address, every intersection, he had a story for it. He had historical facts that I thought might be made up, but once I checked, he actually knew more history than most tour guys I’ve met. The boat captain was also amazing. Very calm, content, easygoing, even let my daughter drive the boat. When I handed them a tip, they refused; that’s what led me to think that he was probably a co-owner or even the owner, and the fact that he extended the tour by almost an hour. If you are in Boston, this place is a must-do. I’ve done it already twice, and both times were spectacular. And both times, twice different as well.

Our guide, Paprika, was absolutely delightful. The driver handled the city traffic and the river with ease. There was a wealth of information given, but more than that, the people on board all seemed to be enjoying the ride.
ANNETTE_B, Aug 2026

MARIBETH_F, Aug 2026
Very entertaining and lots of great history and facts about Boston that are not known or talked about. Our Narrator was very good and a great speaker!
LaurieAnne_F, Aug 2026
Honestly enjoyed this as a solo traveler. Its not a « only kids will enjoy » thing. Yes the jokes are corny, but if you have a modicum of a sense of humour and an interest in the city, adults will enjoy it as well. But yes, there will be kids on board and they will do what kids do, so be aware of that.

They helped accommodate my 85-year-old mother. Made her experience, wonderful and fun. they even had a special place to store her walker.

So much fun. Our guide was both informative and hilarious, which kept the kids engaged. They even let the kids drive the boat in the water, which was a huge thrill. It’s expensive but a great and fun way to see the city
