The crew, especially Maddie were terrific! I don’t have much snorkeling experience and I have never snorkeled at night, There’s not a lot of actual snorkeling so, it was easy. I would recommend it for people of all ages.

Really fun and amazing! staff were friendly. Glad we were in the sunset tour and not later so we could see where we were jumping into water. The Manta rays were amazing to see!!

We saw a couple of Mantas, they were basically trained to be there, but cool to see. The atmosphere was weird, though. One party group, a lot of people who could barely swim, and the tour leader making inappropriate jokes with kids on board and enouraging it to be a loud party atmosphere when I would have expected a bit more serene - would not reccomend for families.

Awesome experience! Tip, go restroom before you check in. Immediately put into wetsuit. Pack dry towel for after mantaray swimming!

This was a great experience! We went on the one 3/31 at 830pm!!!!!! We saw lots of cool stuff and even saw a shark.

The crew was fantastic with my 10 year old who is a strong swimmer but still got a bit disoriented.
The water was cold, I recommend renting the wet suit. And, when you get out of the water, take it off immediately to help yourself warm up.

This is a once in a lifetime experience. The rays come within inches under you. They really are gentle giants. You do need to be able to comfortably swim over to the platform and it’s the Pacific Ocean at night so be prepared to hold onto the floating platform for 30 minutes and to be able to lift yourself up the ladder with the boat rocking from side to side in the waves. But the crew is super helpful and the experience is the best. Also: spend the $ to rent a wet suit or bring one if you own one. The water is chilly at night. And they have prescription masks for those who are nearsighted. Awesome touch!

Awesome, unique and special experience. The manta rays come within inches of you while feeding on plankton. The guides are professional and informative.
Water temp was 78 Fahrenheit and the air was 75 Fahrenheit…bring towels sweatshirts and a blanket for the ride back.

If their is only one activity on the island that you have time for this would most definitely be the one! A once in a lifetime experience doesnt even begin to describe it! Absolutely breath taking! The entire crew was outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. I only wish that would have been able to stay in the water longer than 45 minutes.

It was amazing. We saw numerous fish, dolphins and manta rays. The crew were so patient and gave clear explanations and expectations. The price was right. Get a wet suit. Only 10 bucks.

We finally did the tour after 2 rebookings, due to strong ocean conditions. You have to be able to swim, as you’re jumping into the water from the boat and swimming out to the platforms. Definitely take anti nausea medicine and rent/bring a wetsuit. The Manta Rays are beautiful creatures are glad we experienced them!

This is a once in a lifetime must do experience. I am so grateful to the crew for being so kind. I missed the 5:30 tour and they bumped me to the 7:30 one for free, and they were so kind about it. 100% recommend this company and the crew (Trevor Diego Eric and Maddie).

The crew were fantastic; Trevor, Nick, Madi, and Diego were fun engaging and made up feel safe from start to finish. They had a wonderful sense of humor and showman ship that brought the whole thing together for a family friendly time. I would recommend them to everyone I know that wants to do this experience!
Another thing to note, you can genuinely see they care about the animal safety as much as your own. After all, we’re stepping into their neighborhood!

Super cool and unique experience! It was amazing to see and be so close to the manta rays. Captain Trevor kept us safe and our guide Diego maneuvered the raft to make sure we saw the most manta rays.

This was a great experience! The boat crew was very friendly, safety first, organized and fun! Probably better for those who are familiar with snorkeling (using a mask and snorkel) but the crew accommodated everyone. A young boy was able to sit on top of the light board to watch that way. Non swimmers did the same. We saw amazing rays up close while they did dips in the water right in front of us. Amazing creatures! Tip - rent the wetsuit for $10, it gets chilly in the water and this helped.

The overall experience was very good. The drive to find the link up spot was very easy. Check-in was quick (make sure you review & sign your waiver). The wetsuit rentals were $10 and worth it. All the gear was clean and serviceable.
Ms. Tami, the boat crews guys and the captain of the boat (I forgot her name) were great and humorous!! They made the experience very enjoyable.
Drive to and from the view site was smooth and quick! On the way back you get complimentary snacks and hot coco!
Keep in mind Manga Ray sighting is a nature sighting so you must be patient! It took about 15-20min to actual see some but once we did the wait was worth it all.
I would do this again with the same crew!

2 flotation devices were used for viewing. One with a PVC handel that people held on with arms extended. One with guests lying on top with a viewing area. I was assigned the float primary used for top viewing but in the water with my arms extended. I was instructed to hold on to a flimsy rope ( not rigid PVC ) like the other float. The rope had seperated from some hold points. The wave motion repeatedly pushed the canvas float into my head (for 30-40 minutes ) causing a severe " road rash" on my forehead. I also suffered a bloody scrape on one hand from rubbing underneath the float while holding the flimsy rope. The whole thing was a terrible experience. The operator did not properly maintain this equipment and should not have booked so many passengers that I was unable to use the crowded float with rigid PVC handles. I would recommend using another tour operator.

This experience was fine as we saw three Manta Rays. But comparing it with my parent's Manta Ray experience the day before, it was lacking. They saw about 20 Manta Rays and were blown away with their time with the other company. Their snorkel experience departed from the Keauhou Bay Harbor and has managed to get a huge showing! I highly recommend Hang Loose Co. for the ultimate experience. This one had a little too much talking and not enough showing.

Very fun! Would recommend the wetsuit rental, but survived the chilly water none the less. Staff was funny and helpful, and I felt safe the entire time. Got up close with the mantas, absolutely amazing experience.

The whole experience felt rushed. You are only in the water for 30 minutes. The other tours you are in the water for an hour. I have done a few. The boat is cramped. I would much rather look for a boat with a net in the front where you can sit and watch the sunset. THERE IS NO BATHROOM. The staff beside Maddie did not seem to be knowledgeable about the manta rays. Other tours that I go on while they’re driving or once they’re getting ready to anchor they give you a bunch of information. Too overcrowded for me there was about 26 people on the boat
