Great tour! Our guide provided us with a detailed history of the mountain, interesting tidbits about state politics and Y’allywood and bunch of restaurant recs. The day was overcast and breezy, but the view was still good. This tour is well worth the investment.

Our guide, Durf, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Georgia and happily shared this with our group. Lots of facts about the Stone Mountain. Durf also knows a lot about the movie business in Atlanta, which we all found fascinating.

This is a wonderful way to see ALL of Stone Mountain. It is a long tour (5 hours), but you'll see things you wouldn't have otherwise seen with an informative tour guide. Snacks & water provided, but definitely eat before hand. Plenty of stops to stretch your legs, take pictures and use the restroom.
Getting to the top of the mountain is worth it. Fantastic view!

Stone Mountain Tour – Atlanta, Georgia (October 12, 2025)
We had a fantastic experience on the Stone Mountain Tour with DURF! His deep knowledge of Atlanta and Stone Mountain’s history, combined with his humor and storytelling, made the day both educational and fun. We especially enjoyed the covered bridge, our walk around the island, exploring the quarry, and taking the trip to the top of Stone Mountain—DURF kept everyone engaged and made us appreciate the rich history and beauty of the area. Thank you, DURF, for such a memorable and enjoyable tour!

The pick up location was great with lots of parking across the street from the most amazing Donut shop! Durf was a fabulous host/tour guide full of knowledge and fun fact stories! The time spent in Stone Mtn Park was wonderful and topped off by our tram ride to the top where we enjoyed the most beautiful views as we relaxed in the sunshine and light breezes!

There is so much more to Stone Mountain than the skyride. There is so much history attached to it. Omogbemi was very knowledgeable of the tour site and its surrounding area.

First, thanks for your review. The tour isn't centered around an attraction but nature, rich history, beautiful scenery geology, amenities, and most important the people of Stone Mountain. On top of 2.5 hour guide tour, part of this tour offers an hour and half of independent exploration of the mountain and 80% of Stone Mountain Park visitors partake in cable car sky-ride ONLY, were there's so much view and learn about the mountain.

This is a great day trip to see Stone Mountain and get lots of information about its origin, the park, the town and the area around the site. Our guide , Omar, was very knowledgeable and fun. The bus was comfortable and the drinks and snacks were much appreciated.
